Girl!Donnie X Boy!April (GENDERBEND!!) [Donny X August]

(Hey so this is my first genderbend ever.  I was watching tmnt comic dubs and I found this video and I got inspired to write this! so I hope you like it!!)

Donny was in her lab, working on the retro mutagen as usual.  Since she had been working on this project day and night, bags were forming under her eyes and she was getting a bit paler.  Michelle [Mikey] always tried to get Donny to eat but the purple clad turtle would say "I will not eat or rest till I have found a way to turn August's mother back to normal".

Lea [Leo] was getting tired of Donny so much of her time into the project.  She called and invited August over.  He agreed wanting to visit the turtle.

When he had gotten there, he walked into Donny's lab and saw her eyes drooping as she was working, she looked as if she were about to pass out right then and there.  He knocked his knuckle on the doorframe, drawing the turtle's attention.

"For the hundredth time, Michelle, I-" Donny looked up but instead of seeing her annoying younger sister, she saw the boy she fell in love with.

"Hey, Donny." He smiles a little.

"A-August, I-I'm sorry I thought Michelle was here to bug me some more." Donny laughs with nervousness in her voice.

"Donny, have you eaten?" August walks over to her desk and leans his hands onto it.

".... N-no..." Donny looked down.

"What about rest?" The red head asks.

Donny shook her head.  "I really want to make this retro mutagen.  I want to change your mother back, August, it's my fault she's like the way she is." She sighed.

~Memory~

"It's alright, August, it was our fault we spilled the mutagen." Michelle puts her hand on the boy's shoulder.

"What?" He looks up at her, a little bit of anger in his voice.

Donny, Lea, and Rachel [Raph], were making gestures for Michelle to stop talking.

"Did you say... You spilled the mutagen?" August turns to the orange clad turtle, eyebrows narrowed.

"Yeah, we kinda accidentally dropped the mutagen out of the Kraang ship, but don't worry, we'll get it back." Michelle smiles.

August faces the other turtles, hands rolled into fists.

"Y-You!" He growls.

"I swear by Darwin's beard we'll cure her!" Donny promises.

"YOU MUTATED MY MOTHER!!!" August barks.

The bat mutant growls and breaks out of the cage she was in.  She flies up and goes to grab August.  Donny jumps in front of August and smacks the mutant across the face with her staff.  The bat screeches and flies away.

"No! Mom!!" August runs after her and stops.  He turns to the turtles and glares at them.

The turtles look down.  Donny reaches her hand out to him but he smacks it away.

"Don't! Don't touch me! You keep away from me! I never want to see your faces, ever again!!" He runs out of the warehouse.

"August!" Donny goes to run after him.

"Let 'im go, girl.  Give 'im some some space." Rachel puts her hand on her sister's shoulder.

Donny looks down and feels a tear roll down her cheek.

~End of Memory~

"Donny." He put his hand on her shoulder.  "Her mutation is not your fault.  It was an accident.  I never meant to be so worked up and yell at you for it."
