Turtles X Borrower!Reader

You set the plates on your small kitchen table for your family, placing a piece of pizza on each. The pieces were a little big for the plates but you weren't able to get enough the other day since you almost got caught and only had been able to get two pieces and had to share them somewhat evenly amongst your mother, grandma, and little brother.

You were a borrower. A tiny individual who would sneak out of the house in search of food for the family. But of course you couldn't get caught. Especially by giant turtle monsters. When you were growing up they were smaller but they were still big and could kill you just by accidentally stepping on you with their hand. That's what happened to your father. Whenever you or your little brother would misbehave, your mother would say that the turtle monsters would reach into the tiny hole in the wall and snatch the both of you and eat you.

"Is that why Daddy's gone?" You had asked when you were little. "Did he misbehave too...?" Your mother looked away as you had teared up over thinking about the man you never met.

You always did as well as you could to stay out of sight of the turtles. But it's like everyday their senses get sharper and it gets a little more difficult to get food for the family.

After dinner, you grab your bag and peek out of the hole and see all the lights off. You walk out and see a box of pizza with one whole slice left. Your eyes widen and your mouth waters. Even though you had just eaten, you had a big appetite to fill. You grabbed the slice and dragged it over to the hole and broke the slice up into pieces to fit in the hole.

You hear voices and see the turtle monsters walking into the main room. You gulp and hurry up to fit the rest of the pizza into your home.

"Mikey, I told you to leave my pizza alone!!!" The red one barked.

"I didn't touch it man!!!" The orange one, Mikey, panicked.

"Course ya did!!! Who else would?!" The red one grabs Mikey ready to punch him before the blue one looks in your direction.

"Guys, enough!" He walks over to you as you were still breaking the last few pieces. The others walk over and your heart pounds in fear.

"This tiny," the red one poked you making you stumble back. "Girl took my pizza?"

You hug the last piece to your chest and feel yourself tear up, fearing they would eat you instead of the pizza.

"Aww!!!" Mikey scoops you up and pets your head gently with his finger. "She's so cute!!!"

"Mikey, she's a pest!" The red one scowls.

"Look how tiny she is!!" Mikey holds you protectively to his chest. "I'm not letting any of you hurt her!" He sticks his tongue out.

You were absolutely terrified. You could see your family hiding in the house, watching in terror as you were in the hands of one of the turtle monsters.

"Mikey, put her down." The purple one glares at him.

"No! Raph will hurt her!" Mikey scowls.

You couldn't hold back and you start crying, so scared you might just die right there in Mikey's hands.

"Look, you're scaring her!" The purple one pulls you from Mikey and sets you down by the opening of your home.
