Today, Niall and I were going on our first official date, at least the first one that was out in public. I didn't want to go anywhere fancy, tight dresses and heels just didn't seem appealing right now.
Luckily, he agreed to do something casual, which I was extremely grateful for. Now I just needed to find something to wear. I was never a fan of super tight clothes to begin with so finding something that was tight enough to show my flat (for now anyway) stomach was proving to be very difficult.
I some how managed to find a shirt just tight enough and try and finish my makeup so we can finally go.
I ignore the doorbell, assuming Niall will answer. After the third ring I pull my shirt on and go to answer it myself, where even is Niall?
I pull open the door and see his fluffy blonde hair sticking up and his face blocked by a bouquet of different colored daisies.
I smile as he finally moves them so I can see his face.
"What the are you doing?" I giggled as he moved forward and kissed me wrapping his arms around me.
"I'm am making this a proper first date. I got you flowers and I'm picking you up and I'm driving us."
"No Basil?"
"No, I told him to stay home. I think we'll be okay. The reaction online was surprisingly good."
This was true, there definitely were fans that hated me for being with Niall, but the majority of them didn't seem all that upset. Let's just hope it stays that way in a few months when I'm a balloon!
"Where are we going?" I move into the kitchen to put my flowers in water before I get my bag so we can leave.
"It's a surprise."
"I hate surprises! Just tell me!"
"Nope, you're going to wait and see what it is when we get there."
I huff as I set the vase on the side table in the living room.
"Am I least dressed appropriately?"
"You look perfect, and definitely don't look pregnant."
"I still look fat." I pout as I grab my bag and slip my shoes on.
"You're not fat, you're still so small!"
I just shake my head a walk to the car, ready to get the date started.

When I was younger, my parents used to take me bowling. With not much to do in town, we would walk to the bowling alley down the street. We each had our own balls and shoes and we would play until it was time for the bar to open.I'm sure I had only mentioned bowling to Niall in passing probably one time, so when he pulled up to a bowling alley and handed me a purple ball, much like the one I had when I was younger, I was over the moon.
We got our shoes and lane and started our game. I may have been a little rusty, but I was kicking Niall's ass.
At the end of game one we decided to stop and eat something. Niall came back with burgers, fries and two milkshakes.
"Ugh, I love you, this looks so good!"
My mouth was watering, I hadn't realized how hungry I actually was."What were you going to school for?"
"What?"
"Before you left to take care of your Nonni, what were you studying?"
"I was just taking prerequisites when I left, I hadn't actually picked a major yet."
