Chapter 7: He's my Father, But that means......

Lord Galray and I had moved upstairs into his office after I had eaten something. Knowing that I was more powerful than Lord Galray I put enchantments over the room so that no one could hear he conversation we were about to have. The secrets of the royal Fae's were dangerous in he wrong hands and unfortunately he only knew enough to help my be able to find the Princess. Lord Galray and I were the only ones who knew that Queen Faya and King Faltaya had a daughter. From the scene I witnessed I knew that the Queen was not in love with Faltaya so we knew that she was either rapped or did it to save her country.

"Alright Arlia remember these secrets are not to leave this room unless if you tell them to the Princess," Lord Galray told me.

"I understand what that can do now please tell me your story Lord Galray."

"Alright although not many people know it Queen Faya had visions of the future and she knew her kingdoms end would be near after she got pregnant. So Queen Faya and my brother her husband decided to tell me the secrets, well a few of them any way so that I could teach the Princess or whoever was trusted to the Queen the way to identify the Fae Heir.

Firstly the Fae's Royal most identifiable characteristic is that they somehow know what to do when a Fae is dying or injured. They also know how to treat poisons that only effect Fae's and how to help a Fae who's wings haven't sprouted yet become confident that they will and soon after the Fae's wings will grow."

"Wait what do you mean when do a Fae's wings show and aren't they always there?" I interrupted.

"No once a Fae is 6-9 years old there wings will sprout unless if a spell has been put on them and needs to be broken. You see if someone wants to protect someone say a royal they will place a spell on them to make their wings stay hidden until they come in contact with a certain object. Anyway when a Hidden Fae feels the pull of a family member when dancing well wearing the special gems of their lineage they will resonate a power that engulfs everyone around them and makes them all happy as well. The thing I don't understand is that if any of the Faltreans other than you were near the palace last night why didn't anyone raise the alarm or did another royal far survive the massacre. Anyway the Borealis family is growing too much we can't let any one know that you are a part of that family or they will be after you as well to bring you back," Lord Galray told me.

"Okay so what other things should the princess be able to do or identified by."

"Okay well if the Princess is near the Aurora flower that grows just outside this palace the hidden birthmark of the dragon-wolf print will appear. Also when she uses a powerful spell the area around her will glow the same color as her hair. She can also create her own pet and it will be born with magic as well. Also when a Royal Fae sings her voice can literally draw man to her like flies if she isn't spoken for meaning that she would probably always be surrounded by men. That's all I know though," Lord Galray said and he left me in the room to think. I had to leave here before the magic of the necklace over took me the spell had broken well I was talking to Lord Galray and I knew what I had to do next I had to go to the Faltreans, but first I needed to go up to the Palace rooftop and let my wings free. For now I knew I am a Faltrean and that it was my destiny to save the Fae's and find the Princess. Faltrean's were similar to Fae's and had wings accept that unless if they were halfblood their wings never disappeared.

Climbing up the stairs of the battlements I stood up tall and straight and let my wings free. What i didn't expect was that they were both different colors one was as gold as the sun and the other as silver as the moon. Using my magic I changed my hair to match my silver left wing and my eyes I left the same. Changing my looks I would infiltrate the Faltreans camp and find out who my father was and find out what he knew about the Princess of the Fae. That night was also the night of a pitch black lunar eclipse so when I flew over the towns it appeared like the sun and moon were moving through the night together.

When I landed the next day at the Faltrean camp I was instantly surrounded by Faltrean soldiers.

"Who are you," the man named Ray from the other day was in front of me when he asked that.

"I'm Caya I found out recently that my father was alive and a Faltrean and that my mother had lied to me so I left her and decided to join the Faltrean forces," I told him using my cheerleader voice.

"Well Caya you'll have to met my father first he'll be interested in you especially because of your eye color. I'm Ray," he smiled at me. If it wasn't for the fact that I had seen the past I would have believed that they weren't evil. Yet I knew that Faltaya wanted to end the world using the Princess's power.

"Father I brought someone to meet you," Ray said.

"Hello son and who might this be," he said turning towards me.

"I'm Caya King Faltaya I've been looking forward to meeting you for a long time." I smiled at him happy that I was a flawless Actress.

"It's nice to meet you as well Caya especially since I have another child your age as well. What is with mothers trying to hide my children from me," he said smiling at me.

"Wait what are you talking about," I asked fearing the answer.

"Your eyes..."

"I cut him off sorry your highness I forgot to take out my contacts." I then acted like I was removing contact lenses and changed my eyes to gold.

"Oh that's all right I guess I was wrong, but where did you get those contacts?" he asked.

"My mom gave them to me. I guess she thought if she made my wear magic eye changing contacts you'd believe I was your daughter and then she'd be treated like royalty," I sighed. "Mom does this a lot she tries to con people and she hid my wings from me until recently since I'm half blooded it wasn't that hard."

"It's alright Caya," he smiled kindly at me.

"Why don't you go rest and we will talk in the morning. Ray show her the spare room on the 4th floor alright," he said and then he waved us off.

Walking out the door Ray seemed a little sad and I couldn't figure it out at all.

"What's wrong Ray," I asked confused at his behavior.

"Oh well when he said that I thought I finally had a sister to pamper and take care of and protect from the guys. I don't really want to follow in dads footsteps I want to change the Faltrean back into another mystical race and bring back our honor I don't want to rule the entire world. I just want to guide my people on the right path," he sighed holding back tears.

He then showed me to my door and made sure that I knew his was next door if I needed anything and asked if it was alright if he considered me as his sister which I was fine with. Ray could help me bring the world back to the peace from before and restore the Princess back to the Fae throne.
