The next few days are uneventful, and Friday arrives quickly.

Everyday Chelsea is trying to pry her way into Logan's life, but he won't budge.

Today she's too determined.

I watched as she whispered something into his ear seductively, dragging her slender fingers across his back. She smirked after blowing him a kiss.

I was fuming. She can't do that! I don't want anyone touching him like that!

Ugh, Katharine, stop being so possessive.

The worst part was the horrified look on Logan's face.

At least he didn't like her. I grip the sides of my desk to keep myself from slapping Chelsea across the face.

Logan comes up to me and sits on my desk. "What did she say?" I question.

He groans. "She said 'I can give you what you want. Way more than Katharine. Don't waste your time with her. Come with me baby, we'd have so much fun.' Those are her words. Not mine," He mimics her high-pitched, fake voice.

I gasp. Of course Chelsea would say that. All she wants is sex.

What a bitch.

"Don't worry," he calms me, "I'm not falling for her."

A smile grows onto my face. At least he's smart.

At lunch, Logan and I were on the way to our table when the group of popular guys stops us.

Ryan, probably the most popular guy in the school, blocks Logan from walking away. "Would you like to sit with us?" he asks. His eyes are locked on Logan, not even taking notice of me.

Logan, however, looks for my approval.

I shrug. "It's your choice," I say in a small voice.

"Can she come too?" Logan questions, gesturing towards me.

I stand there, shocked. Even though it's just a small act, it means a lot to me. No one has ever done anything for me like he just did.

Ryan's group huddles in a discussion. They seem to be in disagreement, but Ryan turns around and says, "Yeah, whatever."

There are some groans, and some sounds of approval from his friends.

I can't decide which was better. My heart is racing.

Did this just happen? Was I just accepted to sit with the most popular guys in my grade? Only yesterday, we had tried our best to avoid each other. Now I'm spending time outside of class with them.

My head is whirling with all of the thoughts.
