My phone vibrates on my bedside table, creating a loud noise and startling me awake.

Call from Logan Lerman. The screen reads.

I had been smart enough yesterday to get his number at school. "Hello?" I say groggily into my phone.

"Hey, did I just wake you up?" I hear Logan ask.

"Yeah," I say, "but it's fine. I should've been awake an hour ago," I laugh. "What's up?"

"Would you want to hang out today?" He asks.

I remember him bringing that up yesterday. I nod, even though Logan can't see me. "Sure!" I reply. "Where?"

"The park?" he suggests.

"Okay! See you there in fifteen!" I say and click the end button. I smile and throw on a cute outfit and tie my golden hair into a loose ponytail. "I'm going to the park for a little walk!" I shout to my mum. She gives me an okay, so I head out the door into the warm winds.

Shortly after I reach my destination, Logan appears.

"Hey," I greet him.

He waves in return.

"Let's go on the swings!" I recommend and run to the play area.

Logan joins me on a swing. I pump my legs back and forth, soaring higher in the air every time. I look over to Logan, who isn't as high up as I am. I lean back and watch the ground come closer to my face, my hair skimming the ground.

I hear Logan scoff.

"Please," he sarcastically remarks.

I watch as he takes one more swing before doing a backflip off of the seat and flies through the air. Some how, he lands perfectly on his feet.

I clap in amazement.

Being a person with not much balance, I quickly tip forward. I scream and land straight on Logan, knocking him over.

"You're supposed to hold onto the rope!" he exclaims.

"Oops," I mumble.

We both laugh. Suddenly, Logan's face turns serious.

"Shit," he groans.

"What?" I giggle.

I hear multiple pairs of footsteps approach us. "Oh..." I say. I look back to see Ryan and his gang. Not only are we alone at the park, but I am still laying on top of Logan's chest.

"I'm sorry, are we interrupting?" Ryan asks, smirking.

I can feel the blush climb into my cheeks. I quickly stand up. Logan's face is a bright pink too.

"No," I say, pulling Logan up beside me.

"Sure," one of the guys joke. His sarcasm is easily detectable.

I ignore him. "Did you tell them to come?" I whisper in Logan's ear.

He shakes his head.

"Then why are they here?" I ask.

All I get is a shrug in response. "What do you want?" Logan asks the question that has been clouding my thoughts.

Ryan shrugs, "You know... just thinking about what we talked about."

I shoot him a confused glare.

"What?" He says, amused. "Logan didn't tell you?"

Logan's face became a deeper shade of pink.

"That's too bad," Ryan smirks.

Is no one going to tell me what's going on? I'm so confused.

Ryan then gave us a small wave and left. "I'll let you two return to whatever was going on," he calls over his shoulder.

Even when they were out of sight, there was an awkward silence between us.

"Are you going to tell me?" I ask.

Logan sighs.
