☑️Chapter 7: My Leader

Jackson was right when he said two weeks ago that we're going to have a training camp. Of course, I'm going to attend. They said it was fun and I don't feel like missing it.

It was summer and everyone expected we'll go in a beach. We are partly right  but it wasn't just a typical beach. It is more like an island which makes everyone happier, making us feel like we own the whole place.

"I don't mind living here. This looks paradise" I exclaimed as we soon as we stepped out of the boat.

"You sure?" I jumped out of my place when someone whisper on my ears. JB smiled at me mischievously. 

"You sure knows how to scare people." I said, rolling my eyes.

"What? I don't think I'm scary", he smirked.

Jiwon who's on my other side, gave me a meaningful look. For the past weeks, after I've reconciled with JB, Jiwon started teasing me with him whenever he's around.

I glared back at Jiwon, telling her to stop but she just laugh.

"Okay, I'm not scared. Just shocked."

"Isn't it the same?"

"Scared is for scary people. Shock is not. You said weren't scary?"

"You've got a funny logic."

"Thanks for the compliment", I said sarcastically.

He laughed and I did too.

"Where are we going to sleep here? I can't see any hotel or house", I heard Jackson's voice from behind.

"Isn't it obvious that we're gonna sleep on tents?" Jinyoung said as a matter of fact.

"It's very exciting, men!" Youngjae said, with full of enthusiasm.

"I won't sleep inside the tent. I'll just stay outside and look at the stars" Bambam, said, acting serious.

"I would do the same!" Yugyeom just seconded the motion.

I'm not still close with the other got7 members but looking how close and how comfortable they are with each other, makes me feel like they are all sweet and lovely.

"All trainees, please fall in line according to your level" one of the staffs announced through the megaphone.

Everyone panicked, not prepared for the sudden announcement. Everyone thought we'll take a rest first.

"From the list, all of the 50 trainees were here today. Twenty eight were level 1 trainees, fifteen level 2 and seven level 3 trainees."

Aside from level 3 trainees, which are the got7, the rest were still forming a line.

We are told that we'll be divided in to 7 groups and obviously, got7 will be our leaders. Yugyeom, who was the maknae will have 8 members in his team while the rest will only have 7 members.

"That's unfair! So what if he's the maknae?" Jackson complained upon hearing Yugyeom will have 1 more than member.

Everyone laughs at Jackson's complaint. 

"I'm also a maknae. I also want an extra member!" Bambam protested.

"But you're older than me, Bambam. I'm the real maknae here!" Yugyeom rebutted.

"But you don't look like one!" Jackson said, making everyone laugh again.

"Yugyeom is the strongest here, adding one member to his team will be our disadvantage." Youngjae said.

"Okay, let's choose one trainee who's not gonna play!" Jackson joked.

"It's not a good idea, Jackson" Jinyoung opposed.

"Okay, whoever wins in rock-paper-scissor will get an additional member. Is it now, fair?" JB said.

I can't believe everyone's in chaos just because one team will have an additional member. We were laughing so hard on the thought that our leaders are still kids fighting over that one member. 

In the end, Yugyeom still wins. He was destined to have eight members.

Everyone rejoiced when the staff announced that we have the opportunity to choose our own leader. I glance at JB and he gave me a meaningful look like he's telling me I should pick him.

However, there was a challenge to that. We need to find the leader that we chose with our eyes blindfolded.

How can I find him if my eyes are covered? Perhaps, my heart could find what my eyes cannot see?

Chilled suddenly run through my spines. Where did I got that kind of pick up line? I suddenly shook my head, shaking off that absurd idea.

It was my turn, together with the other six trainees. I only have one thing in my mind and that was JB. The problem is how will I recognize him with my eyes closed. I think it's also a test for me like how much I really know JB.

After few minutes of wandering into the darkness, I suddenly bumped into someone. I tried to touch him but he seems like he's avoiding my hand. I started to doubt if he's JB because I knew he also wanted me to be his member.

Or maybe he's just playing with me? "Hey, I know you're there. I caught you already", I said when he tried to escape aftering touching him.

He then gave in and stand still, allowing me to further touch his face. I tried to locate the twin mole on his upper eye but was disappointed when I didn't find any. "Sorry, you're not the one I'm looking for. "

"But you found me! Aren't you going to choose me?" I laughed, it was Jackson.

"Such a cold hearted girl!" he shouted when I left him which earned him a warning for talking.

"You only have 5 minutes left! If you haven't find your leader, we'll just assign you to anyone!" staff said.

I know most of us are definitely fine being assigned to anyone but I think I was the exception. Don't get me wrong, I don't have any issues with the other member, I just wanted to be part of JB's.

As I throw my arms through the air once again, somebody grabbed my hand.

My heart skipped a beat. With the touch of his hand, I knew it was him.

He let me touch his skin and let me feel the every detail of his face.

"Finally, I found you!" I screamed out of excitement but feel embarassed afterwards, after realizing what I just said.

He unfolded my eyes and his smile was the first thing I see.

I shouldn't be feeling this way. But my heart is acting abnormally.
