☑️Chapter 9: Someone

It was our last night in the training camp. Our team was awarded as the most competitive team, bagging first place in over all team games.

We, the winning team, got a prize of luxurious meat set and we decided to have it on our tonight's meal.

On the other hand, the bottom two which is Youngjae and Bambam's team has a punishment on preparing the dinner tonight, as well as the cleaning up.

While waiting for the dinner, I went near the seashore. I sat on the sand and allows my feet the touch water as the water comes back and forth.

"Who are you thinking of?", I was surprised when Jiwon suddenly sat beside me.

"Nothing at particular. I'm just looking at the moon and its reflection on the sea."

"Really?" she said, unamused with my answer. "You're not thinking of JB?" a grin left on her lips.

To be honest, JB always comes to my mind. But I swear this time, I wasn't thinking of him. I'm just enjoying the night cool breeze without thinking anything.

"No", I firmly said. "Not even a bit."

"Okay", she said, unsatisfied with my answer.

"Why do you always tease me on him?" I suddenly asked. "It's not like there's going on between us. I'm afraid people might hear it and misunderstood everything."

"Sorry," she said. "You look very happy when he's around and I find it cute", she started biting her nails, probably felt guilty.

"I look happy?" I asked but regret it after. It sounds like I was too conscious.

She nodded. "I always think you had a feelings for him and just wanted to hide it."

I bit my lips and looked away.

Does it show?
Do my feelings really show?

I know to myself that I like JB since then. Even if it's wrong, I liked him even if he became my bestfriend's boyfriend. But I hid it. I just prayed and hoped to have that feelings vanish. But it didn't. It was still there.

And now that we have each other's back, I felt like it's growing even more. I'm trying to fight it back because I don't want to destroy the friendship we have. I don't want him to lose the friend he really cherish.

And it's still wrong. Even if Riah's not here. I know she's watching us. I don't want to make her feel that I was betraying her.

So I will hide it. No matter hard it may seem. I'll keep this until it totally vanish.

"We are just friends", I told Jiwon. "He's just a close friend."

"I see, I got it wrong. Sorry, Hara", and she stood up.

When she stood up, someone suddenly pushed Jiwon towards the sea. It was a slight push and pull, like he was just trying to scare Jiwon.

A healthy loud laugh came out from Jackson after seeing Jiwon's reaction.

"You, Jackson! You always love to mess up up with me, huh. Do you want to know what mess really means?!" Jiwon's ears turned red. By that means, I know she's really mad. But I don't know, seeing her like that makes me smile. She's still cute even if she's mad.

Jiwon run over Jackson but Jackson immediately run away from her. Jackson is just so fast who's now making a huge distance from Jiwon. Good luck Jiwon if you could catch him.

"Jackson really loves to tease people especially the ones who easily gets annoyed" that was JB who's walking towards me, smiling from ear to ear.

He sat beside me and play the water with his feet.
