Chapter 8

Aly's POV

"So you're Aly's boyfriend?"

"Umm. Y-yeah." What is he doing? Why is he doing this? I don't get it... Did my friends tell him or something?'

"Aly. You finally brought him!!"

I looked at him confusingly.

"So what do you like about Aly?"

"Umm... Well... I like.... Her.... Eyes....."

"What about her personality?"

"Yeah... She's... a nice person...."

"You guys are boyfriend girlfriend right? Have you guys dated for long?"

"Ummm. Mum we have to rest now... We have the competition tomorrow. So. Bye mum."

"Okay. Bye."

"Bye Aly's mum." And we left.

"Hey! You guys are dating! Shouldn't you guys be holding hands?"

"Umm... Mum I-" And Luhan grabbed my hand and started holding it. What the... Is he... Holding my hand....? Huh? This doesn't make sense... He doesn't like me.. But why is he doing this...? We were walking home and EXO was walking us home. After a while, Loui and Chanyeol came up to us.

"So.... When did you guys start dating?" Then I realised that I was still holding hands with Luhan so I immediately let go.

"D-dating? Pshh. I don't even know Luhan was my boyfriend! He just came up to me!"

"Psh. As if I wanted to be your boyfriend! I just felt sorry for you! I heard your mum wants you to have a boyfriend before she goes!"

"Oh so you did it for my mum?"

"Yeah! Now she can finally go happy! Really happy! She's probably so happy she can go die right now! Haha!" He was actually laughing after saying that. I looked at him.

"You say that like you want her to go right now. And that you're happy she will go!"

"No... Aly... Thats not what I meant..."

"If you hate me so much, curse me! Not my mum! She's really ill! I want to spend every second with her! And you just jinxed her...." I walked away.

"Luhan... You took it too far... I know what you meant, but how you said it was just... I can't believe you said that. If I was Aly, I wouldn't even be able to do the competition!" And Loui went walking after me.

"Luhan. How can say that to someone like Aly? She may seem like a strong person on the outside, but she's really sensitive. That's one thing you should know about her." Viv was calling my name, left Kai and followed Loui too.

"Luhan. You need to have a heart for someone's mum who's really ill. Our parents are ill, but Aly's mums illness is even worse than anyone else's." Vicky walked off too.

"And Aly had feelings for you! Look. I'll tell you something. Aly has liked you ever since last year's ceremony. She said that you're a nice person and that your voice calms her down every time she has a fight with her dad. But she tried to stop liking you because you would never like a person like her. She's trying her hardest to forget you. Jinx her mum too. Wow." Erica ran after us.
