Joey and I were on the ground sitting beside each other. Mrs. Vitch (people call her Mrs. Bitch) walked over to the seats where Mason, Fred, and Paul were sitting. She looked like a walking skeleton with gray hair. Her face was all wrinkly. This is my first time seeing her in person.

Mason started speaking, " ma'am we were just..." He was cut off by Mrs. Vitch, "zip it, Mason." She just looked at the three boys without speaking. I heard that her thoughts were deadly. She turned around to where Joey and I are. She started walking in our direction. I did my best to avoid looking at her, but in the process I locked eyes with Mason. He lifted up his finger, and slid it across his neck. Shit, he is going to kill me.

"Excuse me??" I looked up, at her. She kneeled down in front of me and said, "show me." She sounded calm, so I lifted up my shirt. She said a simple, "uh-huh." Then she got up, and walked to Mason and his friends. "Mr. Finn, told me what he saw when he walked into his classroom." She looked at me then back at them before continuing, "Mason and Paul, you have in-school suspension for three days. Fred you only have one day of in-school suspension."

She left after that. Mason was glaring at his desk. Joey got up, and helped me up. I sat in the desk beside Joey's. Joey leaned closer to my ear, and whispered, "want to come over after school??" I nodded. I would do anything to stay away from Sam at this point.

~Flashback~

I heard one of them whisper to the other, " should we do it now?? Sam did say do it as soon as possible. Is this soon enough??" The other one replied with a snark comment, "well, don't forget he also said he didn't care what we did to her. Let's have some fun first."

~End of Flashback~

That memory sent a shiver down my spine. I can't believe Sam would do that kind of thing. It was almost the end of class, Mr. Finn said it's time to hand in the worksheets he gave us for homework. I took mine out of my bag. Mr. Finn started walking down the rows picking up people's worksheets. If they didn't have it, he would scribble something on the paper that is clipped to his clipboard.

Joey handed in his worksheet, and so did I. I felt like someone was staring at me, but I ignored it. Mr. Finn kept walking, when he was gone, a paper fell on my desk. It was crumpled into a ball. I uncrumpled it.
It said;
This is just the beginning, princess.
~Mason.

Well, fudge I'm screwed. Now I have Sam and Mason to deal with. The bell rang, and I stood up. I looked over at Joey as I put my pack bag on my shoulders, and said, " want to walk to class together??" He smiled as he put his bag on, and then grabbed my hand in his. I'm guessing that was a yes. We both started walking to our next class. We had art now. When we got to class, we sat beside each other. Our phones vibrated, we both did the same thing, pull our phone out. It was a message from Jake, he made a group chat. Only Jake, Joey, and I were in it.

Jake: are you guys okay?? I heard what happened. That Mason guy is a real dickhead.

Me: yeah, we're fine just a couple bruises.

Joey: man, stuff do spread around like wildfire in this place.

I let out a giggle at Joey's remark. Then I looked at Joey, and he was texting. But not in the group chat. Maybe he's texting another girl. I instantly felt hurt. Maybe it was a joke, maybe he didn't like me. I looked over, reading his messages.
