I woke up the next day, and got out of the fort. I blinked away my tiredness, and staggered to the bathroom like I was drunk or something. After doing my business, I washed my hands and face. Then brushed my teeth. Today was the day. I squealed mentally. Joey and I are going on our first date. I start to moon-walk out of the washroom. I totally forgot there was a wall in front of the washroom door, and I walked into it. I whimpered as I rubbed the back of my head. Sam saw me, and he burst out laughing. "Oh. Well, hello there, Sam. What do you call a three humped camel??" I asked, using Nick's joke from Zootopia. Sam just shook his head, and walked away.

I followed. "Pregnant!" I yelled in my high pitched voice. I smacked my thighs slowly, then moved my lips into a wide grin very slowly as I began opening my mouth. "Ha! Ha! Ha!" I did the exact same thing Flash did in the movie. Flash is a sloth, that's why I'm going in slow motion. Sam was observing me copy Flash. "Are you done??" He asked. I shook my head, and spoke again, "'Filthy toilet. You're dead, fluff butt.' Okay now I'm done." Sam broke into a fit of laughter, and I joined him. Sam said in a girly voice, "it's called a hustle, sweetheart." I fell to the ground, and started rolling around as I laughed. Our mom got out of the fort, and saw us. She squinted her eyes at me. "Did you give her laughing gas or something, Sam??" She asked Sam, but unfortunately, it only made me laugh even more. My mom shook her head in disbelief. She said, "teenagers these days always getting high on oxygen." It seemed like she was saying it more to herself. She went into the bathroom. Sam and I looked at each other, processing what she said. But boy that was a grave mistake. When things clicked together, we burst out laughing. I got up, and stumbled my way upstairs still laughing, "this laughing is making me need to use the potty."

Sam was still downstairs when I came back from the 'potty.' He was fishing around the kitchen for something to eat. Not the actual fishing, the artificial fishing, I guess. I don't even think that is a thing. But who knows, with me anything can become a thing. That just resembles my fabulousness. I went back upstairs to my room to get dressed for school. I put on black jean shorts, and an army designed long sleeved shirt. I wore my green converse. Well, what can I say?? I love my converse. When I was satisfied with my look, I went downstairs to eat a little something before I went to school. Sam had already set up my cereal bowl. He was pouring in the milk for me. Awe, how sweet. I sat in my spot, and thanked him. After I finished eating the cereal and sipping the last bits of milk, I washed my bowl and spoon.

Sam placed his bowl in the sink, and smirked at me. "What are you doing?? Wash it yourself!" I scowled at him, the smirk never left his face. "Oh, but Rose, I set up breakfast for you which means you have to do my dishes." I glared at him. Should've known it was too good to be true. I huffed, and did his dishes as well. Sam had already went out to his car to wait for me while I did the dishes. I closed the faucet, and dried off my hands. Picking up my bag, I headed outside towards Sam's car. When I got into the car, he was tapping the steering wheel, and singing along to the radio.

I got guns in my head, and they won't go.

Spirits in my head, and they won't go.

I shook my head. He was singing along to Spirits by The Strumbellas. He drove us to school as he was still singing. I didn't mind him singing; I wasn't paying attention. My mind was thinking about the date I have later today. Before I knew it, we were at school, and Sam was telling me to get out. I got out, and walked to my locker, confidently. I ignored people's insults and snark comments, I was happy and nothing can bring me down. I tripped over something, and fell down. Thank god I had all my stuff in my bag. I looked up, and there stood Jasmine and her cronies. Why can't they just leave me alone?? Why do they choose the days that I'm happy to come and destroy my life?? Why,oh why? They laughed in their high pitched laugh, and walked away. Whatever, it didn't matter.

I stood up, and smiled widely again. Then I continued to walk to my locker. Jake was at his. "Well, good morning, Jake." My smile turned into a full on grin. He turned to me, and smiled. "Well, hello there to you too. What's got you all happy this morning?? Is it the the insults or the part where your own sis pushed you down, if not, what is it??" I giggled at his stupid joke, "nope, today's Joey and I's first date." He fist pumped the air, "whoop! Whoop! Congrats," he pulled me into a hug. I hugged back, then let go. "You're acting happier than I am."

I felt arms wrap around my waist. Deep down I was freaking out, but when I looked at Jake, he was smirking. If it was someone other than his brother, I think Jake would beat the shit out of the guy. I went with my instincts, and leaned my head back on his shoulder. Joey was taller than me by a bit. Jake spoke up again, "you be ready by 1:00 p.m. tomorrow. We're going somewhere." I nodded. Then he left for class, I think. Joey and I got out our stuff from our lockers then headed to class. During classes, Joey and I would either just talk or text.

Joey had already went to the cafeteria, I told him I had to go to my locker first. I walked into the locker bay. Jasmine was talking to Jake, but he was just glaring at her. I quickly hid in the other locker bay, and eavesdropped on what she was telling him. "Jake, come on. You know she's nothing, but a little runt. Why are you being so nice to that idiot?? Just break her, we all know you want to." Jasmine told him that in her high pitched tone. I felt someone grab my wrist. Oh my god, did I just get busted?? I looked up, and it was only Mason. He whispered, "what are you doing here??" I was still nervous though. I didn't talk, just gestured for him to come, and listen. So he did. Jake wasn't answering. Was he actually going to follow Jasmine's lead?? He couldn't, he wouldn't do that to me. There was a big bang against the lockers. "Listen to me, Jasmine. This girl you are calling 'nothing, but a little runt,' is my best friend. So, I suggest you back off. She is like a little sister to me. I'm the sibling that she never had. You are her sister, but yet you're also her worst enemy." You could tell his teeth were clenched together. "But Jake wait. Please baby, you have to listen to me."

"No Jasmine I don't have to listen to you. Never call me baby again!! You got that?!" Jake was starting to raise his voice. Jasmine whimpered, "y-yes." I looked at Mason. He seemed shocked. "Good. Much better. Now get out of my locker bay!!" First you could hear the sobs, then the loud clinks of her high heels, indicating she was running away. Mason and I started laughing, but it was a bit too loud. Seconds later, we were both yanked by the arms. To be honest, I was scared shitless. When Jake noticed it was only me and Mason, he loosened his grip on our arms. His lips curved up into a smirk, "eavesdropping, are we??" Mason and I nodded our heads miserably. Jake chuckled, and started walking towards the cafeteria. Mason and I followed behind him.

When I saw Joey, I quickly ran to, and sat down beside him. I kissed his cheek to distract him as I stole a fry, and put it in my mouth. Joey noticed what I did, and he pouted. Jake and Mason snickered where as I was giggling. "You guys are mean," Joey whined. This turned our snickers and giggles into full on laughter. I felt something cold being poured on me. "Oops! It slipped!" I got up, and turned around to face Jasmine, Bella, and Madison. They started giggling. Before I can tell what happened, Jasmine face was turned, and her cheek turned red. Shit! I punched her. I was going to do it again, but I got pulled out of the cafeteria. Jasmine was glaring at me. I went to the office, and signed out. So did the three of the boys.

We got our stuff from our lockers, and headed outside to the school parking lot. We spotted Jake's car. Out of nowhere someone yelled out "I call shotgun." We all turned around, and we saw Mason smiling innocently. We all burst out laughing including Mason himself. Jake sat in the driver seat, Mason sat in the passenger seat. Joey and I sat in the back seats. We started cuddling close to each other. Mason spoke up, "are you guys always this lovey dovey??" I looked at him, and he was looking at us with disgust, yet there was a hint of jealousy in his eyes. Then he looked at Jake who answered his question. "Yes, yes indeed they are." Mason just sat back in his seat, and buckled up. Jake started driving to my house. Home, here we come!
