Sixth month with Jasmin was important.
Her meetings with psychologist were helping. Jasmine's panic attacks stopped, she became more calm person. She stopped crying too. It was like sun on a cold day that makes you feel better. She smiled more. She even started spending nights at my place.
Not so many people knows about us. But it's time in your life when you just can't keep everything in a secret. My parents were asking. Every single day when I was on the phone with them. I couldn't lie to them. I needed to tell them truth.
And there we were, in my car, driving to Gladbeck.
- I'm really scared that they won't like me Jule... - she said.
- Baby, they're nice people. If I love you they will love you too. I promise, everything will be good. - I take her left hand in mine.
- You're saying that because you don't want to make me stressed more. But that's not helping babe. - she sighed.
- Just keep calm and be yourself - I smiled. She smiled too.
- Love youuuu - she kissed my cheek.
- Love you too honey.
I still remember how scared I was that day. Probably more than her. My parents absolutely adored my ex girlfriend Lena. She is gorgeous, clever girl. My first girl. I still feel attached to Lena in some way. We were together for 5 years. It's a long time for such a young person like us. But we decided to end things between us. She stayed at school in Gelsenkirchen and I moved to Wolfsburg. We chose different ways. It was our decision.
I wasn't scared that parents won't like her. I was scared because I know that it's hard to forget about somebody and get used to new person.
- Mom, dad this is Jasmine - I told them. We were in my parents' living room.
- Jasmin, this is Monika and Hans Draxler, my parents - I introduced them.
- It's a big pleasure to meet Julian's parents. - she smiled.
- Nice to meet you too darling - said mama. They're nice to each other. That's good. It always could be worse.
After we ate dinner, it was time for talk. They know how we two met and what happened to Jasmin. I told them week ago. We thought that it will be easier for everybody, especially Jasmin.
Everything seemed okay. We were smiling, laughing, talking. Mama even told her soup recipe to Jas. I was so happy, I started feel relaxed. But not for so long.
When we came back to home and Jasmin were in a shower my mom phoned me. We were talking about today's meeting. And then she said.
- Julian I really like her, she's nice and gorgeous girl. But remember one thing. You just can't forget about something like being raped. She will always have it in her mind. It would cause a lot of trouble in the future.

And that confirmed one thing: Mum is always right.
