Supermarket 101

*2 weeks later*
Amelia's prov-
I sigh as I walk around the aisle of the supermarket a couple blocks away from my house. Mom had gotten back from the radio tour, I haven't told her about the whole Austin thing... But I don't plan on tell her... Well at least for now.
But it still haunted me... What had I done wrong? What did I do? I guess it doesn't matter now, I'm back to square one, friendless..
I was doing the weekly grocery shopping for me and Mom.
I read the list off:
•Bread
•Eggs
•Flour
•Hair brush
•Cookies
Ok maybe I added the cookies part.... But hey! I'm the one at the store! I finally decide not to get the cookies although I'm pretty sure Mom would have been fine with it. I didn't want to push things.
I looked at the scribbled paper containing the things I needed to get, when I ran into someone
"Oh my gosh I'm so sor- Austin?" I whisper the last part. He looks down
"Sorry." He mutters, pain in his eyes.
I looked at the floor to see his iPhone on the ground lite up with a text message from... Ugh.... Tabitha... He was still with that chick?! I thought he was smarter then that...
I reach down to pick the phone up reading the text as I lift the phone off the ground.

'From: Tabitha
To: Austy <3'

I cringe at the use of MY nickname for him but continued reading.

'Remeber if you hang out with or even go near her, her secrets out.'

My eyes slightly widened he was being BLACKMAILED! That's why he stayed with her!! Maybe that's why...
"Um well could I have my phone back.." Austin asked quickly probably hoping I hadn't read the text message. Which I had but...
"Oh yeah sorry.." I mumbled handing him the phone he walked away with out a smile. Something obviously heavy on his heart.
I walked to the check out line and paid for the items I had bought. I left the building with only two bags in hand and walked home.

"IM HOME MOM!!" I yell from the front door.
"Hey babe." She said from the kitchen, as Coco came over to greet me. I pet his small body quickly and put the bags in the kitchen before going up to my room.

Questions running through my head. Why was Tabitha blackmailing him.. Wait.. It's Tabitha were talking about... He probably wanted to dump her... Once he came to his senses of course.. But she couldn't have that so she blackmailed him.. But the only thing was.. With who? Who was the 'if you hang out with her, her secret will be out?'
That's it! I told myself I grabbed my jacket and walked out the front door.

I was going to confront Tabitha.
