"Oh." Your mouth drops to the floor as your brain finally registers who's standing right in front of you.

"(Y/n)? Oh my god.. hi! I wasn't expecting to see you up this early!" Mina laughs nervously.

"Yeah... well..? Hahaha I don't know, I just-" you try to answer with confidence but the sight of your best friend and ex making out shooked you up. You turn to Taehyung, "Why are you here? And why are you with her?"

Taehyung raises an eyebrow, "What do you mean? She's my girlf-"

Mina's hand clasps onto Tae's mouth, "He's just helping me with a summer project for art!"

Tae removes Mina's hand from his mouth, studying your face for a second before finally putting two and two together. "I thought you said she was cool with it?" Tae questions Mina.

"I did! I don't know why she's acting so weird? Hahaha," Mina laughs nervously, "Maybe she's not fully awake yet!"

You frown, "Cool with what?"

Tae sighed, "With us dating."

"What?"

Taehyung scoffs in disbelief, "You didn't fucking tell her did you?"

"I wanted to! I really did! But- I- No.." Mina whispers.

"You know what? I didn't cause this problem, you deal with it." Tae storms out of the building leaving you and Mina together.

You were still in shock. Yeah you knew that Tae would eventually start dating again and you were 100% okay with it. At least you thought you'd be, but your best friend?? Hell no? That was someone that was way off limits. However, you weren't sure whether you were more mad at Tae or your so called best friend.

Mina approaches you cautiously, "I know you're probably really confused and perhaps sort of mad at me right now, but just hear me out okay? I really and I mean I really didn't have any feelings for Tae whatsoever it just-"

"Sort of?" You laugh, "More like fucking furious! What the hell?!"

"(Y/n)! I promise it's not how you think it is! I never had any feelings for him when you two were together! He wasn't even my type!!"

"Then explain to me why your tongue was five feet down his throat 2 seconds ago! You fucking whore!"

Mina scoffs, "Whore?"

"Yeah. You're a fucking whore, and guess what? A fucking fake ass bitch too. We've been best friends since first grade! We even made a pact to not touch each others exes! How could you do this to me?! How could you stab me in the back and not even blink an eye!"

"I didn't back stab you! You guys aren't even together! Why are you getting so heated?!"

"Why??? Are you really asking me why I'm mad right now??? Are you really that fucking dumb???!"

"Obviously I'm not the dumb one here! You're the real stupid bitch for believing in a stupid pact we made in first grade! I don't even know why I have to explain to you right now! I don't own you anything? I can do whatever I want! And guess what? I want Tae and I have him so deal with it!"

You scoff, "You know exactly what you did wrong. You know how fucked up this all is. That's exactly why you've kept it a secret from me!"

"Yeah, maybe it was wrong of me to keep it a secret from you. But I did nothing else wrong." Mina looks you in the eye, "You're the one who can't remember who he was to you, the one who left him, the one who caused him so much pain that he had to go and confide in me. So indeed, it's not my fault at all that I've fallen in love with Taehyung these past few months, it's not my fault that you pushed him away. Speaking of which, why the fuck are you so upset? You threw him out like he was garbage?! He told me what he did for you on new years eve and you fucking left him in the cold! You obviously don't have a heart so why the fuck are you so upset!"

God you fucking hated her, you wanted to rip every single strand of hair out of her head but you knew she was right to some extent. "You don't think I want to remember?! I want to remember what we had so bad but it never came back! It exhausted me! It's so frustrating because I don't remember anything at all but there's still these unresolved feelings for him! Mina! Maybe I don't remember, but you knew exactly who he was to me!" Your eyes were filled with tears.

Mina looks down at her feet feeling uncomfortable from the scene you two were making in the lobby. "Well maybe next time you'll think twice about throwing something away?" She looks up at you, "You're Taehyung's past, and I'm his future. Don't even think about bothering my Tae, he's done with you."

"Says who?" You laugh. "More like you're just some nasty leftovers he's fucking around with until he get's his main dish back."

She smiles, "Perhaps I am leftovers. But tell me why he worships my body when he fucks me every night?"

This. Fucking. Bitch. You wanted to drop kick her in the face so bad but you didn't want any assault charges on you so you calmly smiled, "Have fun while it lasts."

You smiled but deep down it hurt. Every word she spoke was like a jab to the heart, "Get out. I want you out of the apartment."

"I already have most of my things out if you haven't noticed. I'm like never in the apartment anyways. I thought you would have questioned me sooner but maybe there really is no brain in that head of yours." Mina replied.

You watched as she strolled leisurely out of the lobby, not once turning around to apologize to you. You still couldn't believe what had all just happened. Your best friend, oh wait. That bitch and your ex were now together and though all you wanted to do was go back upstairs and crawl into a ball to cry. You were ready. Resolved. Determined. You were going to get what was yours back. Your damn memories and Kim Taehyung.
