Carl's Pov
My heart is beating fast I run to my house with Nicki in my arms, tears flowing down my cheeks.
Fiona and my other brothers Lip, Ian and Liam were chilling in the family room when I came bursting in dropping Nicki on the floor. Debbie comes in behind me crying on the floor.
"Her heart" Fiona said with tears falling down her cheeks.
Lip and Ian stood there in shock. And I held her in my arms and cried.
"What do we do" I asked sadly.
"We have to take her to a hospital, immediately" Fiona said in a hurry.
"Anything at this point".
We take the bus to the hospital. We arrive at the hospital and we look tired and scared. Nicki got a room, we had to stay there out in the lobby. I couldn't stand still I was asking how she was every minute. Fiona said I should get some sleep but I couldn't sleep until I heard results or see her again.
Debbie's Pov
Everything happens to her, why her? She's perfect I think. She is so nice and so pretty. I'm begging that my best friend isn't...dead. Hours tick by and I'm over thinking and my eyes are puffy, so are Fiona's. Lip and Ian went back to Liam because he's tired. I'm staying until she wakes up. Carl looks frightened, the girl he loves is in danger. Carl is sad, he doesn't want her to die. If she does die she will help him every step of the way.
Carl's Pov
"WHEN CAN I HEAR OR SEE FUCKING NICKI" I screamed loudly.
Fiona gave me a look to calm down.
The doctor questioned "Nicki Jenkins"?
"Yes sir".
"Well only 2 can visit at a time" the doctor explained.
Carl and Debbie go back together and see Nicki with all these electronics on her. Carl's face fills up with sorrow, Debbie bursts into tears again. I start talking to her
"Nicki your going to survive ok, we're going to get through this together".
Dead silence.
Maybe she could hear us I thought.
We had to go back out in the lobby I eventually fell asleep on the chair.
The doctor comes out and tells us the news "Nicki......
