I remember You
I recognize You from long hospital visits and tearful goodbyes
I felt You on long cold nights as a child when I can't seem to fall asleep
On rough days, I can hear You telling me, "Go on." Inside my head
Urging me to get out of bed and brave the world that awaits me
Thank You
I'm grateful for the love You have given me
Thankful for all those times You had stayed by my side
I know You've always been there and will always be
My heart have always felt what my eyes couldn't see
