Hi, sorry for the late update. I just finished my exams. (Phew) So I will be updating as usual. SO maybe the next update will be on Tuesday! Enjoy reading.

Jason's pov

****************

I could feel the strong wind against my face. I slowly opened my eyes and winced. I lifted my hand to touch my forehead. Ow! That hurts. I saw gray walls all around me and a small door with metal bars in front of me. A prison? At the corner of my eye, I saw a woman next to me. She was sleeping. I frowned. Why am I here? I am supposed to be with Ron and Victoria.

Oh! I remembered. Jake knocked me out with a rock, stone or whatever it is. The woman next to me groaned and opened her eyes. "Are you alright, Jason?" she murmured. I stared at her. "Who are you?"

She pursed her lips and laid her head against the wall. "Don't you remember me? I am Lauren!"

Oh, reliazation dawned on me. "Lauren. Sorry, my mind's a bit fuzzy when I woke up. Are you alright? He stabbed you right?" I looked at her stomach to see if there's any wounds on it.

Lauren shook her head. "It healed when Jake transproted us here. Into Queen Urvale's castle."

My eyes widen. "Queen Urva- That means, I get to see..."

Lauren nodded. "Yes, you get to see her. My little niece. Priscillia."

My heart was now beating wildly. I get to see her! I get to see Priscillia again and apologise to her for not being able to protect her. "But, how do we see her?"

Lauren smiled. "The guards will visit us in a moment."

I bit my lip and stared at her. "What did Jake told you? Why does he wants to capture you?"

Lauren pursed her lips and looked away. "Not now. Please just..."

"I get it. It's okay!"

Lauren nodded and closed her eyes.

< FLASHBACK>

I sat on the bench near my cottage and sighed. It was a sunny day today. Spring! My favourite season. Lydia was dancing near the big tree. It was one of the biggest tree in the forest. It was said to heal wounds if you pray and offer the tree three drops of your own blood on a full moon. Healing Tree is what Lydia called it.

We were both eighteen already and Lydia, of course already have a boyfriend. Me, on the other hand is still single. Suddenly Lydia stops dancing and look at me. "Hey, you wanna go to Karmie's ball tonight? They have delicious wine there. You may even find a partner! I am going with my boyfriend." She winks at me.

I smiled. "That would be great!"

We got ready for tonight's ball. Sister's boyfriend came to pick us up. We wore matching blue dresses tonight. When we got to Karmie's house, the first thing I saw was Karmie standing near the entrance greeting everyone. Today she wore a gold gown with matching heels. Her hair was piled on top of her head with a butterfly pin to hold the pile of hair. Her earrings were sparkling and shaped like a flower decorated with glitters. I frowned when I saw her face. There's a bit glitter on her face but a lot on her hair. I think she must've dunked her head into a pot full of glitter. I shook my head slowly.

Karmie squealed when she saw us. "Lydia! Lauren! The both of you came."

Lydia laughed. "Of course we came! It's your birthday party!"

I held out my hand. "Happy birthday, Karmie."

She smiled at me politely. "Why, thank you." She wrapped her arms around Lydia. "We are besties right? Right?"
