Chapter 5: Prodigy

We walked into what I would describe as a super creepy dark room with weird auras that I can't describe. The walls were made of brick and had wooden shelfs with bottle filled with weird colored liquids, tables everywhere. The tables had sheets of paper with weird scribblings on them..... Probably spells.

"Alright (y/n) so we are going to do a few test, being able to see mythical creatures does take quite a bit of magical power but actually being able to cast a working spell is extremely difficult. First I will cast a spell on you and I want you to try and break it, will that be alright?" Arthur asked walking to a bookshelf and pulling out a giant leather book.

"Depends on what type of spell..." I reply as Arthur looks through the pages and stopping on one

"Nothing serious just a simple truth spell, love." Arthur said walking to a table and grabbing a wand

"I don't know..."

"Well you have no choice..... Dumbledora the explora!" Arthur waved his wand a glowing orb apeared on the end, he touch the glowing orb on my head. The light went away and I don't think anything happen.

"Okay so how has your day been?" Arthur asked looking at me intently

"Oh it has been fantastic." I replied thinking about the short little makeout session with Allistor

"Okay, are you and my brother a thing?" Arthur asked again

"I think? It's not official." I reply honestly, what are with these questions?

"Do you find me attractive?" Arthur asked with a little smirk. Wat. Okay calm down maybe he's trying to push me so I'll break the spell, right? So just try lying just say no.

"N-Yes." I try to say no but yes came out, oh god I can feel myself blushing. And Arthur is smirking even more great. Arthur made a quick thinking face before returning to the smirk and walking closer to me

"How many guys have you been with?" Arthur ask taking another step closer till we were only a few inches away from each other. Okay..... So high school was crazy for me so Ive been with like 2 guys. Just say none and we can stop this, think extremely hard. Focus everything on the answer and breaking the spell

"None." I say flatly, after the words left my mouth a smile grew on my face, I did it!

"Good job, love. Sorry to go all pervert on you but I wanted to push you, now shall we continue?" Arthur replied backing away from me and going back to the book shelf

"It's fine I understand, what's the next test?" I ask walking next up next to him and looking at all the spell books he has, I would love a collection like this.

"So next I want to see if you can actually cast a spell, after that I'll look into your past and see the first spell you've ever casted. Most witches and wizards cast spells at a young age and don't realize it, your first spell tells a lot about you."

"What was your first spell?" I ask as Arthur pulls out a different book and walks to a table and takes a seat, I sit down next to him.

"Funny my first spell was actually a curse," he let out a little chuckle,"A witch and wizards first spell is extremely strong, after the first spell the magic dies down a little. You can achieve the strength again but it takes a lot of training. Now anyway to see if you can even cast a spell, here look through this book and pick one you like."

I take the book and flip though some pages, all of them seem really fun. Levitation, fire ball, control water, appearance change, mind reading. Okay I really wanna see what Arthur is thinking about, I let out a little smile as I read the steps. 1. Take wand or hand and imagine the spell you are casting 2. Think deeply about there mind and being able to read it, put all your energy into it 3. Wave wand slightly sending your energy to the person.... Alright easy enough. I fallow the steps and close my eyes, I direct my energy into Arthur as a hear his voice
