Chapter 7: bad dreams and self doubt

"Aye (y/n) you finished packing?" Allistor asked walking into the room I was staying in

"Yea I mean I only packed a backpack." I reply laughing a little as I head toward the door, Allistor's smiles and take my hand in his as we walk down the confusing winding halls. This trip wasn't all that bad, Arthur is kinda an ass but not as bad as I thought he would be. We had a sorta nice dinner and I made amends with Dylan and Seamus and they understood I was under a lot of stress. I mean a few years ago if you told me I was a witch I would've laughed. Arthur gave me a few beginning and intermediate spell books to practice, contain both dark and light magic. Although he told me to work more on my light spell, but I can't all do light spells or I'll become imbalanced and the dark magic will lash out. Boy is my magic high maintenance, but I can't complain to much.

"Thank a lot Arthur, I had some fun." I say hugging him as he chuckles a little

"Yea you weren't all that bad either, love." Arthur replied pulling away and giving me a slight smile, I return the smile and walked out the front door stopping enough to her Arthur's and Allistor's goodbye

"You take care of (y/n), I haven't met a girl like her before. If you hurt her I will take your land." Arthur threatened as Allistor laughed

"Aye I hate you to brother." Allistor replied walking out the door, as he smiled at me and we both walked to the car. He opened the door for me and I got in and he got in after me, the seats were the same as last time. Seamus was driving, Dylan was handling the radio, and I was sleeping on Allistor. The drive seemed to go really fast but then again I was sleeping like 90% of the time, I only really woke up to get food and to read spells. We just pulled into Allistor driveway and it's dark out and I'm exhausted. Why am I tired if all I did was sleep and read, the body is weird.

"Alright lassy we're home." Allistor said nudging me slightly, all I did was respond in a disapproval grunt. He sighed and picked me up bridal style, I cuddle up against his chest as I was barely awake. I felt him lay me on the bed and place the covers on me as he crawled on the other sides and cuddle up against me, I can't wait to practice magic tomorrow. But for now sleep seems so nice.....

"I love you (y/n)" Allistor said smiling at me with his signature cigarette hanging out of his mouth. I look around and we are in his kitchen but everything seems to perfect. The sun is shining through the kitchen window and everything seems to have a slight haze to it, "but I need you to leave."

"W-what?!" I asked looking at him as his smile turned to a cold expression. A sadness grew inside with each passing moment as the sun faded out and it seemed to turn to night

"You're to dangerous for my brothers and I, you should learn to control your powers before we see each other again." Allistor replied coldly as he ripped his hands away from me and backed up a little

"W-what?! What about you saying you won't ever leave me! What was all that!" I yell as tears run down my face, this can't be Allistor. Allistor wouldn't do this, right? He loves me. He told me he loved me!

"I lied." As those words left his mouth a rage grew inside me, you can't play with people's emotions like that! He could've been honest with me from the beginning!

"NO!" I yell as my hands moved up and out shot metal spikes that shot into Allistor as he got pushed by the force onto the wall, the spikes held him onto the wall. He let out a cry of pain the broke me from my anger as I realized what I had done, "..no"

He tried to speak but only blood came out of his mouth as I ran up to him tears spilling out. I looked into his eyes and what I saw killed me, his once green love filled eyes were now filled with hatred and betrayal. I let our sobs not caring if I was letting my weakness show
