Silas
When I walked into school on Monday, I was receiving glares. From girls and guys alike. Looks like they found out. I sighed a little before I felt a sneeze coming on. Try as I might not to sneeze, I did. My fangs flashed and I rubbed my nose once before walking into class.
Mav wouldn't be here today, he had business with the new pack members. He was informing them of their responsibilities and the rules of the pack. Corbin was out hunting today and Grayson had to stay to help Mav. I was all alone today. Another sigh.
Who knew I would feel this lonely without Mav or Grayson or Corbin with me. With that thought on my mind, all I could do was wait till school was over before I could run to Mav's house.

Mav was waiting for me when I showed up at his house. I shot into his arms like a rocket. He placed a kiss on my head and I grinned up at him. He had a small smile on his face. "That's it." He looked at me puzzled. "My goal." He still looked puzzled. "I want to make you smile. A full, blown out, happy smile. Without a hint of sadness." His eyes widened. His blue pools sparkled, he kissed my forehead again. I buried my face into his chest.

The rest of the evening, Mav and I were in his bedroom. He was sitting with his back against the headboard and I was between his legs. He had his arms wrapped firmly around my waist. I was leaning back against his chest and watching tv. He was rubbing his thumb in circles on my hip. A yawn escaped my lips, my fangs flashing.
Mav shifted to push me towards the bathroom. I brushed my teeth and walked out half asleep. He had already changed into his pajama pants. I was so sleepy that his half naked form didn't even register in my head. Mav helped me change, before scooping me up in his arms and laying me in his bed. I curled up against his pillow and took a deep breath of his lingering scent.
His arms wrapped around me and I felt my back hit his chest. His warmth wrapped around me like a cocoon. I heard him take a deep breath of my hair and the blanket fell over us. The last thing I remember was his warmth and the feeling of his chest rising and falling behind me.
