Grayson Xavier Davis

Maverick
Grayson, Silas, Corbin, and I were all standing in the parking lot after school, next to my car, talking. Well, they were talking, I was just listening.
"Oh whatever Corbin," my little mate rolled his eyes at his brother. Corbin had been telling us a story of how Silas had almost burned their house down over a spider. He slowly inched his way to my side. "I have a story for you guys. You should hear this one time Corbin salted-," Silas was quieted by Corbin slapping his hand over his mouth. Silas's eyes lit up in glee at his brother's reaction. I was puzzled, I looked over at Grayson. He was just as curious as I was.
My phone rang and I picked it up. One of my pack members worried voices ran into my ear. "Alpha. A group of rogues has been spotted on our southern border," Grayson was on the phone in an instant. "Copy on our way," he looked at me for orders. I rubbed my brow and patted my shoulder. "Alpha says to send scouts to keep an eye on them and tell everyone to head to the pack house," He hung up and handed me my phone. "Sorry guys we need to go. We'll see you tomorrow."
After I gave Silas a hug and Grayson said bye to Corbin, Grayson and I jumped in my car and drove home as quickly as we could to the pack house.
When we arrived, one of our three Deltas walked over. "Alpha the rogues have set up camp at our border. Devin and Faith are keeping watch as we speak." I nodded. "What are your orders?" I rubbed my brow and pulled my right ear. He nodded and shifted to go and tell the scouts. "Come on Vick. We need to notify the other Alphas." I followed Grayson back to my office.

After several hours later and all the Alphas in the area were notified, I bid everyone goodnight and retired to my room. With my door locked behind me, I pulled off my shirt and sat on my bed. Well, today was eventful. I changed into pj's and crawled under the covers. As I drifted off to sleep, a tear fell down my cheek.
