Chapter 14

DILL’S POV

 Well it turns out that Elly’s is brother is alive!!! I just don’t trust him. Why couldn’t he just save his family’s misery? Well I’ll just drop it,  I’ll cut him some slack. I looked at him pour himself another bag of blood into his cup. I looked at the blood drip into the cup in disgust.

“How do you drink that stuff?” I asked him.

“It’s easy. Once you turn into a vampire, it's all you’ll ever want. It’s the most amazing thing in the world well, next to gummy worms.” He responded.

“That’s still gross.”

“Wanna try some?”

“No thank you. I’m all good.”

“So how long have you and my sis been together?”

“A little more than a month. Have you found your mate?”

“Yea.”

“Really where she?”

“Right now she’s on her way to a date with her boyfriend.”

“So she’s human and taken?'

“Yea. It hurts me every time I see her with him, I just want to kill him.”

“Why don’t you?”  I said trying to make a joke. Michael just looked at me all surprised and serious.

“I was just kidding! Dude don’t take everything so serious.” I told him quickly.

“I can’t, she loves him.”

“Dude, all you got to do is get her to look at you and she’s in love with you. It’s how the mate thing works.”

“How the hell am I supposed to do that?” He hissed and ran his fingers through hair.

“What restaurant is she as right now?”

“The Italian restaurant downtown. Why?”

“We are going to go crash it.”

“What?! We can’t do that!” He yelled. 

“Oh, yes we can. Do you want your mate or not?” I told him while picking up my jacket that was behind my chair and putting it on. Michael was deeped in thought and then he quickly shot up from his chair.

“Let's go crash that date.” He said and chuged the rest of his blood and we walked towards my car.

“Whoa, dude nice ride.” He said as soon as he saw my car.

“Thanks.”

We drove to the restaurant, speeding the whole way. We went to the front desk and told one of the waiters that we have to talk to the owner. He led to this long hallway that stopped into these huge double doors.  The waiter knocked on the door.

“Come in.” said a voice. We knew the guy was a werewolf by his scent.”

We walked inside his office and sat down in one of the chairs.

“Sorry for interrupting you sir, but we have a favor to ask you.”

“Anything for the to-be alpha.”

“Okay we need you to let us be the waiter for the Sherwood reservations.”

“Scott Sherwood is the boyfriend of Autumn Chambers, this kid’s mate.” I told the owner and pointed to Michael when I mentioned him.

“Well of course. You will do anything to get your mate will you?”

“Of course sir.” Michael said. The owner looked at his computer monitor and told us that they just arrived. He gave us a pair of uniforms and assigned us to a table.
