Chapter 2

Dylan’s P.O.V

I’m waiting….waiting…..waiting… I’ve been waiting about twenty minutes for my luggage to get here, and my patience is running low.

About five minutes later my luggage finally appeared. I grab all of my suitcases and headed to where the families are waiting for us to arrive. As soon as I get there I see two familiar faces, my parents.

I smiled and walked over to them. I hugged them and kissed my mother on the cheek. 

“Oh my baby is finally home!!” my mom said while wiping her tears.

I’ve been away for college for about two years studying music. I never came home for holiday because I could never afford the passports. But I got a job and started saving for this trip. I’m moving back home to Willow Springs so I could spend more time with my little sister or maybe having the possibility of finding my mate.

My sister and I are very close, she’s the reason I’m coming back, and to get a break from school. My family moved to Willow Springs her sophomore year of high school. She's had a little trouble making friends because she's extremely shy, but she has been telling about this one girl lately saying how she is the best friend she has ever had.  Her name is Elise, I think.

“Come let’s get home before the girls, they went for a run.” My father explained.

“Girls?” I asked.

“Oh, Hope is bringing Elise.” He told me with a smile.

“Tell me more about this Elise girl.” I asked. Every time I call they are always saying how Hope is with Elise, or that Hope is upstairs or somewhere with Elise.

“Oh. Elly is the alpha’s daughter and has been Hope’s best friend since we moved to Willow Springs. She is practically like another daughter to us.” He told me while we put my luggage in the trunk. 

We got to our house to find nobody there. The house was so quiet that you can hear a pin drop. Everything was excatly how it was when I left. I smiled and breathed in the scent of home.

“Go put your stuff in your room. I cleaned it yesterday so you wouldnt come home to a dusty room.” My mother told me with a smile.

“Okay. Thanks Mom.” I replied. I went up the stairs and opened the door to my room to find everything all neat. I’m not the kind of person who likes my room nice and neat, so my room will be a mess by next week.

I put away all my clothes in the empty drawers. I slowly walked into the kitchen to find my dad making dinner. Lets just say that my mom is not the best cook. She onced tried to make the turkey for thanksgiving and almost burned the kitchen down. 

“I called the girls already. They’ll be here in about two minutes. Just a few seconds later a heard rustling in the back. Just when the door opened there was this amazing scent just hit me. It was just amazing it was coconut with vanilla, and mud? My wolf was saying ‘MINE.MINE’. I smiled, my mate is here. 

As soon as she came into view I was a gonner. She was covered in mud and beautiful as ever. She has curly brown hair that was sticking up everywhere due to the mud and her eyes were light purple. She was gorgeous. When our eyes met each other it was like there was nobody here, it was just me and her. My thoughts were broken by my sister throwing herself at me giving me a giant bear hug as she like to call it. Even though my 6’5 beast her 5’6.

Hope released herself from me and turned around saying “Elly I want you to meet my brother Dylan.”

I looked back at the beauty that was still looking at me. She smiled and waved shyly and said hi.
