Chapter 20

[Elly POV]

 “Dill I thought you said they were going to be home in the afternoon!!!” I told Dylan as we drove to the front of the house and found my parents car in the driveway.

“Oh yea. They told me they were going to come in the morning. My bad.” Dill said.

“Okay Mike, are you ready to see our parents again. You are going to be asked a lot of questions. I hope you’re ready.” I told Mike only to find him still sleeping. I looked at Dill mischievously.

“What are you going to do Elly? I know that look.” Dill said cautiously.

“I’d get out of the car if I were you.” I told him and he got out of the car and I opened my door and stepped out. I poke my head in the car and screamed. Mike jumped out of his seat and hit his head on the top of the car and slammed into the door. I laughed so hard that tears streamed down my cheeks. Mike looked and me and glared.

“Were home.” I said cheerfully after I controlled my laughter. The door to the house opened and out came my parents running.

“Are you okay we heard Elly scream…OH MY SWEET BABY JESUS ARE YOU PREGNANT!?” my mother yelled.

"Is that your way of telling me I look fat?" I told my mother feigning to be offended. A smile broke out on my face and said, “Yup momma, one month prego with twins.” I told her with the biggest smile on my cheeks. Dill wrapped his arms around my waist and rubbed my belly.

“AHHHH!! IM GOING TO BE A GRANDMA!!” My mother said happily and pulled me into a hug. My dad looked at me with a huge smile.

“Whoa Daddy, I haven’t seen you smile that much since Aunt Martha moved away.” I said with a small laugh.

“I can’t be happy that my daughter is pregnant? And when Aunt Martha moved away it was one of the best days of my life.” Daddy said smiling and pulled me into a loving hug. We all laughed until Mike came out of the car and my parent’s faces were priceless. They were completely shocked.

“Mikey is that you?” my mother asked with tears in her eyes.

“Yea mom it’s me.” Mike said almost crying himself. He’s always been a momma’s boy.

“Son why are you a Vampire?” my dad asked.

“Hehehe, long story.” Mike replied.

“We’ll I’m going inside I’ll let you all bond.” I told my parents and pulled Dylan inside. I walked into the kitchen and took out the pickled from the fridge and melted chocolate. I covered about ten pickles in the chocolate and then walked to the living room to watch TV. Dill sat beside me and pulled me onto his lap.

“So when do we find out the gender of the babies?” he asked rubbing soothing circles on my belly.

“Ummmm let me think for a sec….” I told him while I started thinking.

“I think at 18 to 20 weeks. I’m about 5 weeks prego so you mister have to be patient for another 14 weeks.” I told him and poked his nose.

“Have you thought of any names?  We have to pick two of each.” He asked.

“I was thinking Blake and Jake, if we have two girls Alexis and Angelina, and for one of each It'll be Isaiah and Isabella.” I told him. I had lots of time to think at the hospital so I thought of names for the babies.

“I like that. I hope we have a boy and a girl though.” He told me.

“Do you want a daddies little princess?” I told him and kissed his cheek?

“No because two boys in the house will be a nightmare.” He said and chuckled. I was eating my last pickle and I noticed Dill was staring at me.

“What? Do you want a bite?” I asked him.

“How do you eat that?”

“It’s delicious!!!!” I told him.

“It looks gross.”

“Well have you tried it?”

“No.”

“Then here have a bite.” I told him and he took a bite. He chewed on it then swallowed.

“What do you think?” I asked him.

“It’s not that bad actually.” He told me honestly.

“Told you.” I said then I started to hum to Stuck like Glue by Sugarland.

“Stuck like Glue by Sugarland really?”

“Yup. You got a problem with that?” I asked him seriously my mood changing completely from happy to slightly angry.

“Nope not at all.” He replied.

“Good.” I told him seriously.

“Well do you want to watch a movie?”

“Yea! Let’s watch Zombieland!!!!” I yelled excitedly.

“Yea, lets watch Zombieland.” We heard someone say. I turned my head to see excited Mike.

“Okay I’ll go get the movie from my room.” I said and ran to my room and got the DVD box and ran back downstairs. I pop the disk in the DVD player and sat down beside Dill and he wrapped his around me.

“Autumn is going to be here in like five mines. Let’s wait for her.” Mike said.

“I haven’t met Autumn yet so okay. I’ll go make pop corn and get me some peanut butter covered pickles.”

“What happened to chocolate covered pickles?” Dill asked.

“I’ll get some of those too. Want some?”

“No.”

“Good ‘cause I wasn’t going to give you some anyway.” I said and kissed his cheek. I walked towards the kitchen and made the pop corn and my snack then walked back to the living room to find a very pretty girl sitting by Mike. Obviously it was Autumn.

“Hi!! I’m Elly, Mike’s sister!! You must me Autumn!! You’re so pretty!!” I said excitedly. She looked at me and smiled.

“Yea. Congrats about the babies.” She said happily. I like this girl.

“Thanks!!” I said happily and sat next to Dill.

“Well, play the movie.” I said and gave the bowl of popcorn to Mike. I ate all of my pickles and snuggled up to Dill’s face. I was really tired and it’s only about 3 pm.  Dill pulled me onto his lap and I laid my head on his shoulder. I put my hand on my stomach and smiled.

“I love you Elly.” Dill whispered to me.

“I love you more.” I whispered back.

“Not possible.” He replied before I fell asleep with a smile on my lips.
