Chapter 32 - A broken Family

It has already been one week. One week passed since the accident of Lorena. She was still at the hospital, they put her into coma because of the injuries. I was able to take Zain and Javadd home with me two days later. I took them to my parent's place, going to London wasn't in my plan. I wanted to be near Lorena, I wanted to see that she's still alive and I just couldn't leave. The boys were missing their Mummy, they obviously never been this long separated of her. It was killing me seeing them crying and suffer, they wouldn't understand what's going on even if I would explain them.

It's now 9pm and the boys are finally sleeping. I'm in my room, crying silently. Everything was feeling numb. At this point of my life I've reached the lowest point ever. I was a wreck. I was only functioning for my boys.

"Hey baby", my mum said as she came in my room and closed behind her.
"How are you?"

"How should I be, Mum?! This is such a nightmare!" I felt tears running down my cheeks again. Won't these lacrimal glands ever shut?

"They said that she was showing signs last night." She said and rubbed my back to comfort me.

"She might did but they also said that the injuries are really bad..."

"Shhh baby", my mom said. "Never stop believing in her okay? She is a strong girl and she will be fine. She raised twins on her own and sh..."

"That's the point Mum!" I interrupted her. "SHE was all the time with Zain and Javadd! They kinds  don't even know me! I AM like a stranger to them!!! They want their Mummy! They want and need her and I can't do this without her!! And I don't want to." I was afraid. I didn't want to be a single dad. That would be horrible.

"You still would have us Zayn. And the boys. In particular you will have Harry." My Mum tried her best.

"He will come tomorrow."

"Who?" She was confused.

"Harry. He had to go back because Simon told him to, for a meeting or something else. He messaged me that he will be there tomorrow with Gemma, Anne and Lorena's family."

"WoW."

"I--. Mum would you mind let me sleep? I'm sure Zain and Javadd will get up in an hour for the first time and I am really exhausted."

"Sure baby, good night. I love you." She said and kissed me on my forehead.

"Mum?"

"Yes?" She turned around as she was about to leave my room.

"Thank you for everything and I love you too."

"Insha'Allah everything will be better soon Jaan, talk to Allah. He will listen to you." With these words she left my room.

I woke up to a crying baby. A glaze over to my clock told me that it's already 11am!!! Why been I sleeping so long?? I got out of my bed hastily. I run to their room but they weren't in there. I made my way down to the living room to see Waliyha holding Zain and Safaa holding Javadd.

"Look who decided to get up." Waliyha said to Zain. He looked at me and smiled. This melted my heart.

"A sleep head of a father you have." Doniya added.

"Shut up Dee."

"Nah Nah don't swear in from of them." Safaa said.

I made my way into the kitchen.

"Good morning sweetie. What's wrong?" My Mum asked me.

"My sisters."

"What did they do?"

"They are annoying."

"Ain't nothing new Zaynie." Doniya said and gave me a kiss.

"Don't call me like that, would you."

"I am your older sister, I can do what I want."

"Alright, Walibear and Saffypoops get here!"

"What the hell?" Safaa asked me.

"Don't swear sissy." With this words I took Javadd away from her and hold him close to me.

"Good morning baby, I love you." I whispered into his ear.

"Aww." Safaa might heard me.

My phone beeped. It was Harry

Hey Z,
We are in Leeds in 10.
R u there yet?
H.

No, we are still in Bfd.
Not sure what I should to with Z&J yet..

Take them with you? I bet they would
like to see Cara and the rest...
H.

Alright, will ask my Mum.
We will be there in 20.
Please wait.

Ight, we will get soom food.

"Mum, can we take Zain and Javadd with us?"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes."

"Alright, than let's go."

Mum, Waliyha and Safaa came with me. Doniya and Dad stayed at home. Doniya because she had some Uni work and my Dad... well he didn't leave the house often.

I saw Harry and the rest from distance.

"Hi guys." I said. Cara came right way to me and hugged me. Her face was red, she cried. She and Lor are like sisters, this isn't just only for me hard, it for all of us.

"She will be fine." I said to her.

She looked at me still with wet eyes. "Thank you Zayn."

After greeting and hugging everyone we made our way to the hospital.
We stayed there for about 5 hours, until they told us we have to leave.

"Let him..they need her... it is possible." I heard my Mum talking in front of the room. I was still in it.

The door opened and my Mum came in with my two boys.

"They said it's ok if the 3 of you will be here tonight." She said.

"Really? Thank you Mum!" She gave me Zain and Javadd and left with the others.

There we were. A Family. A broken Family. Lorena needs to wake up.
