Extended Summary

My name is Nicole Ferguson and I am 22 years of age. I'm a prostitute and I'm not proud of what I do, but I do have two mouths to feed.

I grew up with both my parents up until I was 16, they were killed on their way home from work. I was the eldest and after the fatal death of my parents I had to start being the adult and finding a job at that age was impossible.

The family was there for us for a year and after that they all turned their backs on us and I had to fend for my sisters. I was only seventeen doing my senior year.

I started doing piece jobs, cleaning houses, doing their gardens but it wasn't enough. I had to pay for my school fees, and also feed my siblings. My parents family turned their backs on us because I wasn't my parents biological child.

I think I'm mixed because of my hair and skin color. One day I met a lady while looking for a job. She offered me one and I took it. If only I knew what I was going to do, I wouldn't have accepted it.

I had to sleep with a man who was old enough to be my father, but it was too late and he took my virginity. I earned well and I gave my sisters the life they deserved. I know what I did was wrong, but I had no choice. Angela and Vanessa are all I have.

I'm currently doing my fifth year in medicine and yes I'm still a prostitute. I do need to pay my tuition fees, but in the next coming years I will graduate and finally give up on this life.
