" Stuck beneath a landslide
In the middle of your bloodshot eyes
I see you long for the summer
Hear an impact sound"
-Landslide, Matt Webb

As I drive back to Taylin and Jacelynne's to finish grabbing the rest of my things I call Sara.
Ring.
No answer.
Ring.
No answer.
Ring.
No-
"Hello?" Sara asks nervously.
"Hi Sara" I respond quietly.
"Josh!" she shreiks softly, she sounds worried.
"I'll stop by later-"
"Mom and Dad... They don't want to see you" Sara blurts out.
I stop the car and pull into a gas station parking lot. I grab my keys and run inside.
"I gotta go Sara" I hang up before she can say anything else.
TRIGGER PLEASE DON'T READ IF YOU TRIGGER EASILY.
I slump onto the washroom floor. Careful to lock the not-so-sanitary door behind me. I drag the key on my wrist.
Again for Sara.
Again for screwing up.
Again for Heroin.
Again for my family hating me.
Again for screwing over my parents.
Again for screwing over Taylin.
Again for screwing over Jacelynne.
Again for Ramsay Fiction.
Again for Matt.
I stop and look at my arm, littered with new and old cuts alike.
This is okay. I'll be okay.
OKAY SO IF YOU DON'T LIKE BLOOD OR GET TRIGGERED BY IT STILL NO READING.
I stand up, my head feels a little woozy so I wash off the blood, I watch as the red swirls down the drain and away. I dry off my wrist, the skin still raw so I put a paper towel over it and then my sleeves, lastly I clean up my keys. The blood left them splattered with red.
ALRIGHT YOU'LL BE OKAY TO READ NOW.
I drive back down the dirt road to Taylin's house, the door is propped open. I push it open softly, not bothering to call out.
Nobody comes down these parts unless they live here.
Jacelynne's words echo in my mind, this feels wrong. I trip over something, luckily regaining my balance before face planting on the marble floors of the hallway. I turn to see what I tripped over and to my relief it's a suitcase with a fancy J printed on it.
Jacelynne.
It's Jacelynne's bag, there's something wrong.
"HELLO?" I call out, my voice bouncing from all walls.
"JOSH?" It's Jacelynne's voice that responds. I calm down immediately.
"I'M JUST GOING TO GET MY THINGS." I call back, I hear what sounds like an "okay" so I just go.
OKAY SO IF YOU GET TRIGGERED BY PILLS OR OVERDOSING, OR YOU GET SICKENED BY THINGS LIKE THAT JUST STOP READING THIS CHAPTER AND I'LL SEE YOU ALL NEXT TIME :*
Sorry for all the trigger warnings and such, this chapter was important but if you didn't read the trigger warning parts {or the part located after this little A\N} everything that is of importance will be cleared up next chapter.
I love you all so much, the last thing I wanna do is trigger you to do something horrible to yourselves. Stay strong my lovelies <3
Story is starting now. It's not too late to close it.
I wander up the familiar stairs, into the hallway. Taylin's bedroom door is wide open, I smirk slightly and continue to my old room. I collect the remainder of my ties and pictures, including one of my old song books.
-
Once I finish collecting everything I sigh, taking a final scan over the room. Deciding to pop into Taylin's room to say last goodbyes I walk that way.
"Tay" I grin, she's asleep on her bed. She looks so peaceful, I decide to wake her up. "Tay" I whisper, shaking her.
I continue this for a few more moments before I roll her over onto her back, her eyes are wide open, her clothes are crumpled, her lips chapped and slightly open and her arm flops down.
Lifelessly.
Taylin is dead.
