We finished moving Derek in around two and we were starving. So we jumped in the car and headed for the diner, six other fancy restaurants in town, but most folks still eat at the diner every day for lunch.

We go in and sit at the booth that Derek and I claimed as our own back when we were just sixteen years old. "Good afternoon what can I get you to drink?" a snobby looking waitress said when she walked up. We placed our drink orders and the look she gave Derek before she walked away made the hair on the back of my neck stand up. Nasty bitch ugh I hate bitches like that she can clearly see he is here with me! I thought to myself.

I looked away as she turned the corner to the kitchen and Cora caught my eye as I turned my head, she looked pissed as I did so she must have caught what I did from skank waitress. She smiled at me when she realized I was looking at her. I smiled in return.

"So ladies, what are we having for lunch today?" Derek's voice brought me out of my thoughts. I looked over at him and he smiled at me I smiled and just sat there for a minute looking into his beautiful eyes that just said I love you as he continued to look into my eyes.

"Okay guys, we are in and you two look about like you're going to rip each other's clothes off here in a minute." Cora's voice brought us back to the real world, "Ha Ha, very funny Cora Jean" Derek said to his little sister with a fake mean look on his face. "Oh you just got middle named, little girl," I said to her and laughed. She just stuck her tongue out at us and we laughed harder.

Just then our skanktress walked back over to our table and it looked like she pulled her shirt down to where you could see the tits she didn't even have. I looked at Cora who looked at me biting her lip trying not to laugh as I was biting my tongue.

"So are we ready to order?" she asked looking at Cora and around to Derek skipping me altogether. I think I let a growl slip out because Derek grabbed my hand and gently squeezed it. I smiled at him. "Okay handsome what can I get ya?" She asked leaning over a bit and by the look on his face, I think he threw up in his mouth a little.

"Um, I'm not quite ready how about you take my wife's order first," he said to her putting emphases on the word wife to make his point. Which I'm pretty sure she got because she got a really annoyed look on her face when she looked over at me, so I ordered, "I'll have the twelve ounce rib eye cooked rare, steak fries and an ordered of fried okra, now my steak better be rare, you wouldn't want to lose your job over getting Sheriff Stilinski's daughter's lunch order wrong would you" I asked her,

She furiously shook her head no and took Derek and Cora's order. Before she left I  said, " thank you skanktress, oh by the way after putting in our order how about you tell Pete that you have a warrant for your arrest and that you're going to turn yourself in" her face fell to the floor. "How did you know?" She asked.

"Seriously my dad is Sheriff Stilinski, I know everyone who has a warrant out for their arrest. Now go do as you're told before I call my dad up here to drag you away in cuffs I hear that they will be lenient with you if you turn yourself in" when I finished she took off for the kitchen. Derek and Cora just stared at me, "What?" I questioned them, they both busted out laughing, "Skanktress?" Cora questioned.

"Yeah seemed like a nice word to describe her when I thought it up" I laughed. "I like it"  Cora smiled at me. we made small talk for about forty-five minutes when Pete came walking up with our food. "Belle, did you have to make her go turn herself in the middle of lunch?" He asked. Pete was the owner and a really great guy, we all thought of him as a second dad, "well yeah Pete, especially when the charge was possession and distribution of meth" I said, "wow meth? I would have never thought that" He said as he gave us our food.

"Peter that's why you need to run a background check on new employees and drug test, and the clinic down the street said they would do them free of charge and dad said he would run the background checks if you would take him fishing on that new boat of yours," I told him.

"I guess your right, thanks Belle, say hello to your dad for me," he said and went back into the kitchen. We ate our lunch and we talked here and there. I told Cora she needed to think about getting a job and said that she would talk to Pete on Monday which is his none busiest day of the week.

We left a tip when we finished and paid then headed out to the car when a strange sound hit my ears. It was a cry for help. Derek and Cora heard it too, but everyone else went on about their business. I looked around as did Derek and Cora.

Then I spotted it, "Derek" I raised my voice loud enough for people to hear, but not too loud to cause attention to where I was looking. He came and stood by my side, "What is it?" he asked, I pointed quickly and dropped my hand, "Isn't that Isaac Lahey?" I asked him, "Yes it is," Derek said and you could hear the anger in his voice. he may no longer be an Alpha anymore, but he does have the instinct to protect his beta's.

"Derek I thought he was in Pairs, that's where Chris left him," I said panicked. With our enhanced vision, we could see that Isaac looked malnourished and like he hadn't slept in days. I handed my digital camera to Cora, "Go get as close as you can without being seen, turn off the flash, get a good lock on his scent." I said to her and then watched her take off down an alley.

Derek and I walked back to the car, Derek was so angry, I grabbed his face and forced him to look at me. "It will be ok, we will get him back, one way or another, this is not your fault no but's or if's got it?" I asked him and I pulled him to me and just stood there holding him until he calmed down.

Cora returned a few minutes later. "Ok, I got good pictures of him, a good lock on his scent and a good picture of the guy barking orders at him, we need to send it to your dad to see if he can track down who he is," Cora said. I took the camera from her and she got in the back seat of the car. Derek went around to the driver side. I turned and looked at Isaac.

"Isaac," I said in a low voice that only he could hear, which he did. His head snapped up and his eyes found mine and Derek's. "We will be back for you, hold on we are going to get you ok?" I asked him. He looked relieved and nodded his head.

Sadly and not wanting to we got in the car and drove back to the house. "We are going to need everyone for this, we will need Deaton and Chris," I said, "But" Derek started, "No buts we need everyone on this or we'll never get him back alive," I said.

Derek shook his head, I sent the photo of the guy to my dad telling him what was going on and what I needed. This task wasn't going to be easy, but we needed to all work together and bring him back home. I thought to myself. I sent a mass text out to everyone, then I grabbed and held Derek's hand the rest of the way home.
