Trouble

"OKAY, OKAY let me see it!!!!" Lydia all but screamed when she came to the house for lunch with the girls. I quickly gave her my hand knowing what would happen if I took to long.

"OMG that is so beautiful," She said and the other girls gathered around and all agreed. "Wait, a second, is that the color of Derek's werewolf eyes?" Malia asked, "Yeah it is," I said pulling my hand back and looked at it for a moment then looked up at the girls. They all had a strange look on their faces that I couldn't read then they looked at each other.

"Why?" Kira asked me, "Come on, let's go in the dining room, Peter should have lunch set out, I'll explain the reasoning there," I said and turned and went into the dining room. "We're having baked ziti for lunch?" Hayden asked when she saw the table.

 "Ah yeah apparently Peter doesn't know how to cut a recipe in half and he made enough to feed twenty the other night instead of just two," I said with a laugh. The girls laughed with me, but we stopped when Peter came in with the warm garlic bread.

"Thank you, Peter, you may go," I said, We watched him bow towards me and then leave the room and then the house. "Still using my Uncle as a butler?" Cora asked between giggles. "Oh yeah, he's got a long ways to go before I will ever forgive him," I said and started twisting my ring around my finger. 

"You never did say what he had done," Hayden said. Cora and I shared a look, I had already told her. She nodded urging me to tell them. 

"Well remember when I told you girls about the reason why I left?" I asked and they all nodded, "Well apparently I was wrong when I said no one knew I was there listening to them, Derek didn't know I was there, but Peter he knew and he knew that the time I walked up and what I heard he could flip it in his favor and so he did" I said still looking down at my hands.

"Wait you mean to tell me that Peter said what he said back then to make you leave and stay away from Derek?" Lydia asked, "Yeah he did" Cora answered for me. "But why?" Kira asked and I looked up at them with glowing red eyes. "Because I wasn't what I am now, I wasn't a werewolf and he didn't want his nephew to be with someone like who I was back then, someone who was human," I said.

They all looked at me mouths gaping wide open, except for Cora's, "Close your mouth's darling's you'll catch flies" I said which caused them all to giggle.

 "Well it was back years ago when we were freshmen in high school, Derek had stayed over one night and I had this weird dream, Derek was standing in front of me and says I need to show you something and he closed his eyes and then opened them, his eyes were no longer the green that I loved seeing staring back at me, but they were an ice blue, they were like looking straight into his soul. I woke up not long after I had seen them, Derek was laying there staring at me, he asked if I was OK and I said yeah, he asked if I wanted to talk about it so I  did, he was my best friend, I told him nearly everything, when he asked why I was so mesmerized by him having ice blue eyes, I turned to him and said, because when I looked into them I saw the sadness that caused them, the happiness that was yet to come and the man who would same day make some woman a very proud and happy wife, you don't see a monster he had asked me, I said no I see my best friend who just needs a little more happiness in his life, he looked at me like I had three heads and says they didn't make you want to run, I rolled my eyes at him and said no they didn't actually it was the opposite, they kinda drew me in. I told him before falling back to sleep that it would be cool to have two different eye colors and be able to change them at will" I finished telling them with a smile.

"Little did I know his eyes were also ice blue in real life"  I laughed which caused the girls to laugh, "So why did he make the diamond that color?" Hayden asked, I looked at my hand again, "He told me that he got it this color so that I would always remember the way I felt in that dream with him looking at me with his ice blue eyes" I said, Kira was about to ask something else when there was a knock on the front door.

"You expecting someone?" Malia asked, I shook my head no and got up going to the door. I opened it and there stood my ex-husband on the other side the hair on the back of my neck stood up and I was getting this feeling of danger and that I needed to run.

I stepped back a little and the other girls stood behind me. "Robert, what are you doing here?" I asked him trying to keep my voice calm. "Awe Izzy, why do you look so frightened, I just came for what is mine, he said in a creepy voice, I shivered at the horrible nickname he gave me years ago.  "And what would that be?" I asked baking up a little further. 

"You," He said and shifted into a wolf with yellow eyes. There was no way I was ready to fight, I just started hand to hand combat with Jordan and how to fight like a wolf from Derek. The girls and I took off running towards the back of the house and then out the back door. 

We made it to the woods, but he was hot on our trail. "When did your ex-husband get turned?" Malia asked me while we ran at top speed. "Beats the hell out of me he was human when I left him" I said and about that time we both tripped and rolled down a hill into a puddle, Malia and I rolled over to our backs just as Robert stopped at the top of the hill we just rolled down, "well Izzy, any last words before I take you?" he said chucking evilly, "Yeah actually just one" I said looking up at him eyes red he stood there with fear in his eyes. I took a deep breath and roared with everything in me. 

"Nice knowing you though, hope my mate doesn't kill you," I said and started to back away. When I said mate his eyes grew angry and he jumped down in form of me. "What mate?" he aid between his fangs. "This one" a voice came from behind him. 

He turned to look and found Derek wolfed out, electric blue blue eyes staring back at him. He went after Derek only to be flung twenty feet and into a tree. Derek came over to me checking and making sure I wasn't hurt. "I'm fine," I said grabbing his face making him look at me, "I'm fine, I promise," I said and he placed his lips on my forehead. "You'll pay for that wolf-boy," Robert said coming straight for Derek and me.

My Alpha instinct kicked in and I wolfed out and stood in front of Derek. Robert was charging at us full force wolfed out. I was getting tired of this little omega so taking a deep breath I roared at him. His legs buckled and he dropped to the ground.

Just the Peter and Scott showed up and each grabbed his arms, I turned to look at Derek whose blue eyes flickered red and then back. I furrowed my brows, "What is it? Whats wrong?" He asked, I shook my head and looked back at Robert, "who turned you?" I asked him in my alpha voice.

"The same guy who turned you, he said if he didn't return after a certain time to come and finish the job," he said, "Really, hmm but what should we do with you now?" I say mostly to myself. I turned to look at Derek, "My love what do you think?" I asked him, he smiled and came over and kissed my lips growling 'Mine' "yes yours only yours" I said making Robert growl and then cry out in pain as Peter and Scott pulled his arms further apart.

I turned to look at him and got a wicked idea, "Malia, take his arm from Scott" she did as she was told, "Scott, call Argent" I said everyone grinned wickedly catching on to where I was going. Derek took me home after we left Robert alone with Chris.

When I told him who he was, he was game. You see Daddy and Chris are best friends, Chris is also mine and Stiles godfather, but he is also like a second father to me. When dad told him why I was coming home he was ready to kill Robert, But Dad wouldn't let him because he was human, but now he's not and I have a sneaky suspicion that Chris is going to take his time and have a lot of fun with that one.

I was brought out of my thoughts when Derek cleared the tree line and was near the back porch, yeah he was caring me go figure. I told him I could walk perfectly fine, but he wasn't having any of it. He set me down as he cleared the steps of the porch and then proceeded to check over every single inch for any trace of my encounter with Robert.

"Derek, stop everything that was cut, broken and bruised, is done healed up, I'm not human remember" I said to him, but apparently all he got was broken and his head snapped up and he looked me in the eyes and said, "Broken?" when he said it his eyes flashed red. I gasped and took a step back.

Noticing immediately he calmed and looked concerned,  "What is it? What is wrong?" he asked me taking a step towards me. "Your eyes, they were red," I said. The look of shock crossed his face he took me in his arms, "Are you sure?" He asked I nodded my head, "do it again?" I asked him, he shifted his eyes and sure enough, they were blood red. 

Nodding my head in confirmation I said, "Call Deaton" as Cora stepped out of the house, she ran back in to do as she was told.
