This is just a dumb little book that will be filled with dumb little drawings and a few ABSOLUTELY AWESOME MASTERPIECES, when the Force is with me.

The sketch to the right was me trying out some new concept art for UAAT. Ever since her new Rebels outfit was released, I've been thinking about how I would combine that and the old TCW-future-Ahsoka look, which I also really like, as something intermediate between the two. This was sort of a cross between the Rebels and TCW styles as well on an Ahsoka in her late twenties, or at least as close as I could get with my limited experience XD
The second one, oooohhh, the second one... VERY HAPPY with the way that one turned out, and, as I was drawing it, I further cemented something I already know: creative stuff turns out the best when you're not really thinking it over too much.
And that sketch, which in my head I call the Ahsoka Tribute, is among the first I always show people when they ask to see what's inside my sketchbook.
There's a story behind the sketch too. I drew it at some point an episode or two before the season finale OF FEELSSSSSS, because I had a sinking feeling something was going to happen to her. So, I drew it, saying to myself, "Okay, if she doesn't make it, then this is my tribute to her awesomeness. if she DOES, then it's a celebration of her continued awesomeness."
But, since the ending was SO KRIFFING AMBIGUOUS, I have no way of knowing for sure. So I'm just calling it the tribute for now.
The shading and shadowing were AWESOME, the proportion was pretty good, I love the pose and the lightsabers, and her expression just looks like it's got a story behind it... And the entire thing is almost perfectly accurate with the Rebels design, which makes me very happy :)
So, I hope you all like this one last sketch, which I PROMISE is a real doozy... Enjoy :D
