Got this idea the other day and absolutely fell in love with it. Vote if you like it, and comment what you think I can do better on if you don't like it. Onward!

When there was nothing,
No life,
No sound,
Just lonely, empty planets,
There was love.
Mercury was enchanted with Venus' beauty,
Earth's calm balanced with Mars' fury,
Jupiter and Saturn constantly fought for dominance,
Yet were smiling again by the end of the year,
And Uranus and Neptune just about spoiled their little Pluto.
But what
Of the Sun
And the Moon?
The other planets whispered and gossiped,
Claiming that they were simply meant to be,
But they failed to understand
That they were family.
Nay, the Sun and the Moon
Were Siblings,
Not lovers.
For it was not the Sun that captured Moon's attention,
But Earth.
Her Oceans, her Deserts, her Forests!
She was absolutely gorgeous,
Full of Life and Energy and Laughter,
Which made Moon love her even more.
He orbited around her,
Always there,
Quietly waiting to be noticed.
But she never did.
For Earth loved Mars.
His bluster, his emotions, his storms,
Filled Earth with excitement and the thrill of drama.
And because of her fascination with Mars,
Moon was
Slowly
Forgotten.
Centuries passed, and Earth
Still had not
Noticed him.
The sun spoke gently to him,
Attempted to make him understand,
Understand that she
Would never love him.
But Moon was patient.
He would wait for Earth forever,
Care for her forever,
Love her forever,
And sun knew,
If forever passed,
He would
Wither
And Fade
And Die
Without ever being
Loved.
