Rap Monster/Kim Namjoon - Forgive Me?

It has been one year since you've moved to Korea. In that one year you've studied hard, improved your Korean, dated, and found a job. Today was a sunny day and you were in a happy mood so you decided to take your dog, Joey, out for a walk and to play some fetch at the nearby park. You put on a white crop tank top and high waisted black shorts. You tied your hair into a quick messy bun and slipped on your contacts. You grabbed Joey's leash and put on your Converse.

"Let's go Joey!" you smiled, calling him from the living room. He came running out from the living room and waited for you to clip on his leash. You had bought Joey two months ago when something went wrong in your relationship. You felt lonely so you decided to invest in a puppy. Joey was a golden retriever puppy, the cutest puppy ever. When you got to the park barely any people were there.

You threw the ball a few times, Joey catching it and running back to you. But you were getting tired and accidentally threw the ball really far away.

"Joey!" you called after him.

You ran and chased him to a seating area where picnic tables were. You saw the ball on the ground but Joey didn't pick it up. By the time you looked back up, he was nowhere to be seen.

"Joey!" you yelled, looking around. You finally spotted his fluffy fur at a picnic bench. He can't be eating human food again. You sighed and ran towards him. When you finally got to the picnic bench, he was jumping onto the person.

"Ah! Joesonghabnida." you bowed. But when you looked up to look at the persons reaction, you saw him.

"Sorry." you mumbled, immediately picking up Joey and walking away.

"Wait! Y/N!" he called after you.

You sighed and turned around. "What do you want Namjoon?"

"Can we talk?" he asked.

You reluctantly nodded and put Joey down on the floor. You guys began walking throughout the park. It wasn't until a few minutes into the walk that he started talking.

"I'm sorry." he whispered.

*Flashback*

"Jagiya?" he said.

"Mm?" you replied.

"Can we talk?" he asked.

"Ok. Where?" you asked.

"At the park."

You hung up the phone and didn't bother changing into better looking clothes. You pulled your hoodie over your head and put on some flip flops. As soon as you got to the park you saw his blonde hair at a distance. You ran over to the bench and sat down beside him.

"What's up?" you asked.

"I-I think we need to break up." he whispered.

"What?" you said, sitting up.

"I'm sorry Y/N. I don't think we will work." he said, looking at the ground.

"What do you mean? Do I need to change? What do I need to do? Tell me, Namjoon. Tell me." you said, tears flowing down your cheeks. You didn't know why he would all of a sudden break things in between you guys. You thought your relationship was going really well.

"No Y/N. It just won't work." he said, standing up and walking away.

"At least look me in the eyes and tell me that before you walk away!" you shouted.

He stopped in his place, you hoping that he would turn around but he kept walking after a few seconds. You bursted into tears, your warm breath visible in the cold atmosphere.

*End of flashback*

"I did it to protect you Y/N. We were going on tour soon and I was scared that you couldn't handle the news. So I thought if I broke it off with you, you would be better off." he explained.

"No. You should've asked me." you replied.

"I know, that's why I'm apologizing. Will you forgive me?" he asked.

You thought about why he broke up with you and thought that he was only doing it to protect you and didn't want to hurt you so you nodded. He immediately brought you into his arms and squeezed you tight.

"Saranghaeyo Y/N!!" he yelled.

Everybody at the park gave you weird looks as they passed by but you were just happy to have Namjoon in your arms again.
