Don't Let Me Go

- Chapter 18 -

Justin's POV.

"I'm still in. What's the plan?" Ashley said. She really wanted to get revenge on the Vipers for killing her parents.

"We need to set a mouse trap. And Selena has to be the cheese." I said fairly quiet.

"Erm, what? No, we can't do that!" Louis said.

"Do what?"

I turn to towards where that came from.

Dylan is on the last stair.

How did you not hear him coming?

What was I supposed to say?

I turn to look at everyone. They're all as shocked.

"Hello? Isn't someone going to answer? And why was I not aware of the meeting?" Dylan asked.

"Justin, we can't hide this from him. It's his sister." Ashley said to me.

"She's right." Alison backed her up.

"Uh? What about my sister?" Dylan asked again.

Crap.

"Justin wants to use your sister as cheese." Shawn said quickly. I glared at him and he just shrugged.

"ARE YOU BEING SERIOUS?"

He starts walking towards me fast. Aaron gets a hold of him.

"She's my sister and I just got her back. We're supposed to be keeping her safe and-"

"Who's we? You're the one that's supposed to be taking care of her. Not me. I could care less about Sel-"

"What's going on?"

Oh no.

"Selena?" Dylan turns to look at her.

Selena's POV.

My eyes start fluttering open. I lay in bed trying to recall what had happened. Then I remembered. My mom. Louis. Justin. The phone.

I take out the phone and immediately hope it has service. I dial my dad's phone number. It's already in the contacts as 'Dad'.

Not weird at all.

I get an answer after like 5 rings.

Sel: Hello?
Dad: Hello? Selly, is that you?

I hear my dad's voice crack when he says my name. Tears immediately cover my eyes.

Sel: Yes.. Dad it's me.
Dad: Honey, where are you? We've been worried sick. Selly we miss you. Who took you? Are you okay?
Sel: Dad?
Dad: Selena where are you? I'm coming for you. Just tell me where you are.
Sel: Dad, I can't go home..
Dad: What? Why? Are they threatening you? Is this the last time I'll hear your voice.
Sel: Dad. I'm with Dylan..

The line goes silent for what feels like minutes.
Time passed by and I don't know if I should be the first one to speak up once again or wait for him to recover from what I just said.
