Chapter 17: Truth or dare

Chapter 17

Katniss P.O.V.

"Why do we need to play truth or dare?" I ask.

"'Cause I want to, so suck it up", Finnick says. "Besides it's fun".

Yeah for you maybe.

He knows that I hate this game.

"Okay than", I give in.

"Okay I'll start", he shouts woth his eyes still on the road.

"What a surprise", I say sarcastically.

Peeta laughs.

"Very funny", Finnick says with as smile. "And I say, truth or dare... Annie!"

"Truth", Annie says.

"Do you love me?" he asks.

Annie smiles.

"I do", she says and kisses his cheek.

"Yey!" He shouts.

I giggle. Finnick really can be goofy sometimes. Or no, not only sometimes, most of the time ... okay, always!

"Truth or dare... Peeta", Annie says.

"Truth", Peeta says.

"How many girls have you slept with?" She asks.

Okay, now this question suprised me, or not the question itself but Annie, that she asked it, she never would've before we went on this trip. What the hell has Finnick done to her?

Peeta blushes.

"None", he mumbles.

I smile to myself. I love the answer to that question, even though I already knew, but I love hearing it. I think you know why.

"Really?" Annie asks surprised. "No like for real?"

"Why is that interesting to know?" Peeta asks.

"Omg Peeta, are you that stupid?" it comes from Finnick. "I mean, have you seen yourself in the mirror, hottiiiie".

I burst out laughing. I just can't hold the laugh inside of me. This was just too funny.

"Shut up Finnick", Peeta says angily.

He really didn't like what Finnick said.

"You know how he is", I say to Peeta. "Besides, its was funny".

"Exactly", Finnick says.

"Yeah, yeah", Peeta says. "Whatever, my turn".

"Truth or dare ... Katniss", Peeta says.

"Okay, truth", I say.

"Why are everyone choosing truth?" Finnick asks.

"There's not much to do in a car Finn", I say.

"Okay, damn, that's true", he says disappointed. "Eh whatever".

"Okay anyway", Peeta says. "How many have you slept with Katniss?"

I blush. He really had to, just because I laughed at what Finnick said. Well I guess I deserve it.

"None", I say.

I glance at Peeta and sees that Peeta is pretty happy with my answer and I smile to myself again.

"Truth or dare Finnick", I ask.

"Dare", he says.

"Oh come on, there is nothing to do when you're sitting in a care", I say.

"But when we stop I could do something", I say.

"Okay, than when we stop at a gas station, you'll go in and pay for the gas and an ice cream saying; "I need to cool down and maybe you should as well after I've left, because of my smoking body", I say. "Oh and you'll do that only in you underwear".

Finnicks smile disappears and Peeta laughs so much he chokes. Annie too.

I smile evil and I know that Finnick can see it in the rear view mirror.

"Sure", he says. "Truth or dare Katniss".

I decide to be brave.

"Dare", I say stubbornly.

"Kiss Peeta", he says simple.

Oh fuck. He knew I would take dare. Fuck, fuck, fuck.

"I'm sorry Peeta", I say.

"Don't be", he says.

I lean in and kiss him. My lips has longed so after Peetas lips that it's not my fault that tis kiss turns french.

We lean against the seat and keep on kissing each other.

I know that Finnick and Annie now know that this isn't our first kiss, but I don't care, they was going to find out sometime any way, better sooner rather later in this case because I know that they would've been angry with us if we kept it a secret for longer.

Peeta moans and I do too. I just love to kiss Peeta. Everything with his kisses are absolutly amazing. His lips are so warm and soft, gentle yet the kiss turns a bit agressive, and I know that it's my fault.

"Okay stop it you guys", Finnick says. "Explain youself, how long ahve you two been together without telling us?"

I pull away from Peeta.

"Since yesterday", I say.

"Yesterday ... aha haha so when I gave Peeta the shoes..." Finnick says laughing. "That explains you hair dude".

"Whatever", Peeta say.

I take his hand and he squeezes it gently and he smiles at me.

"Oh you're cute together", Annie says. "Why didn't you get together right from the start?"

Well we could've if I just had been brave enough to tell Peeta how I felt earlier.

"I don't know", I mumble. "But does it really matter?"

"No", Annie says. "The important thing is that you are now".

"Yeah it is!" I say, looking at Peeta.

Peetas smile gets bigger.

I love him. I really do, but it's too soon to tell him. I mean Finnick and Annie says it, and I admit that they are cute, but I think it's too soon for them as well. But I don't decide for them. I can only decide for myself, and I decide that it's too soon. I mean I want Peeta to know that I'm serious and don't just say it to say it, I really want him to know that I love him. And I want the first time I say it to him to be speciel.

I just have to wait.
