Nothing much happened the rest of the day. I had math, ELA and others, turning into a gray slur in my mind. After school Emily, Chris, and I would go to our hide out. We would talk, and Chris and I would explain what happened after gym. Something happened and I will find out.
After walking home from school, I set my books down in my room. I stared at one book in my sleek, brown desk. I walked toward it, opening the drawer the rest of the way. The blue book had glittering light blue engraved upon it. I dragged my hands across it and against it. Before I knew it the book was coveres in shiny ice. I gasped and jumped back, dropping the book in the process. The ice shattered and slid off when the book hit the ground. I stood there, breathing fast breaths. What had happened?
