Chapter 13 - Emily

Jacob appeared outside of the room of crystal. "What do you want?" I yelled at him. My anger had balled up and reached a limit. I was lettig it out. "You left me here to be a leader, and you know I can barely be a team captain!" I yelled again. "But if you let me be bring you on my side, we can rule together! We can round up all the Ordins and make them our slaves!" When he said Ordins the crystal in his chest glowed. The crystal had turned into an outcrop of stone. It spread across his biceps and a little bit of his right side. "No! We are a team, not a destructive force!" But when talking to Jacob, my legs had brought me outside. "I-I-I don't want to be with you. Be yourself. Fight it." I begged him. He dropped to the ground, holding his stomach. His eyes glowed brown. "Run..." he murmured. Then his eyes illuminated a yellow color. He stood up. "You should have said yes." He smirked. Before I knew it he had jumped up and summoned an ice dagger. He dashed towards me and sliced. I dodged, and he barely missed, slicing through my left sleeve. He skittered to a stop and jumped upward, propeling his dagger towards me. I rolled under him, and summoned armor. A fire slid over my body and dispersed, showing a slim long cloth suit with small ornaments of orange. I pulled out my fire sword and sliced upwards. It knocked Jacob, cutting him back and shootig out blood. "Agh!" He fell to the ground and I stood. "Chris! Back-up! No-" Jacob slashed his blade through my arm, knocking me away. Blood splattered everywhere. I hit a pillar and landed on my bum. I looked at my arm. It was soaked in blood. He hadn't cut through it, but sliced a deep cut. "Ugh..." My vision blurred and focused in and out. I saw what I thoughy was Chris pulled his axe out and swing it towards Jacob. Glenda ran towards me. "Oh, no, no, no." Whispered. Then she picked up mud, and rubbed it on my wound. "Sit here, and you'll be fine, ok?" Glenda told me. I weakly nodded.
