I was freed. Freed from the crysta's wrath. "J-J-Jacob?" Emily asked. I loiked at her. She had a hurt look in her eyes. Emily's armor was in shreds, and her arm was a maroon bandage. My legs buckled and I fell. "Oof. Emily, could you help me?" I asked delicately. "O-o-of course." She gingerly laced her fingers around my arms and pulled me up. "Uh, hey guys." I waved weakly to Chris and Earthlady. "Who are you?" I asked Earthlady. "I am Glenda from the former E.I.A." "Oh." I breathed outwards. "Wait, a minute. Where are going?" Chris asked. "We should go to..." She couldn't finish. She glanced at me. I threw my hands up, in a surrending gesture.
She dropped me on the ground. "Ow!" I yelled in pain. "Emily! What was that for?" Chris yelled at her. " I finally got you back, and you changed." She murmured to me. Glenda stayed standing, just watching. "I almost broke down and quit because of the stress of being a leader!" I looked at her questionly. "Do you mean you want me to be the leader? To be forced to do what you want?" I almost yelled at her. "I-I-I-" She stopped. "You get up by yourself." She whispered to me forcefully. I pushed myself up. It hurt. A lot.
