Chapter 40

Jacky's P.O.V.

Had to wake up early to help my dad with errands for today.
"Chicken or beef?"
"I'm more of a chicken person" I say
"We'll just take both."
I went to get plastic plates and cups while my dad went to get drinks.
"I might as well get some chips" I whisper to myself
I grab about 4 family sized chip bags
"Wow someone is going through a breakup" I hear someone say behind me.
"Excuse me?" I say when I turned around.
"You can't eat all of that." He said as he was fixing the cans.
"Well for your information I have a family gathering today so it's not for me. Besides if it was you have no right to comment on my food choices." I say starring at him.
"Aren't you a package. Attitude, sarcasm and big appetite" he says with sarcasm
Honestly he was the one who had to make a comment I was having a pretty good time.
"Yes I am but I'm obviously not your package" I say and walk away.
I finally see my dad and put the things in the cart.
"I think we have everything" he says looking down at the filled up cart.

When we got home the boys were there helping my mom and brother organize here and there.
"Hey babe" Calum says as he comes and gives me a quick kiss on the lips.
"I'm right here you know...." My dad says as he carries the bags inside.
"Hi babe" I say. Honestly that dude at the supermarket ruined my morning.
"Tell me." He says.
"Tell you what?"
"What's wrong? Is it about the conversation we had last night?"
"No something else."
"Spill" he says
I was about to when my dad came back.
"Caleb? Connor? Can you help me bring the stuff inside" my dad says to Calum.
I almost laughed to Calum's reaction.
I know my dad knows his name but he's just trying to mess with him its the dads job to do with his daughters boyfriend, can't blame him.
"Tell me later princess" he says kissing my forehead and starts carrying bags inside.
I'm going to miss him so much.
I sigh and walk to the backyard.
"Keep up the good work" I say and smack Michael on the butt with some lights that needed to be hanged.
"Don't touch the art" he says and I laugh.

I sit on a chair and I felt in place. Everything was good in life and I couldn't be more thankful.
Calum sits next to me.
"Okay I'm listening"
"I was shopping minding my own business until this dude decides to make a comment about me buying a lot of food. He was so rude" I say
"What's his name? Who do I have to hurt?" He said and I lay my head on his shoulder and hold hands
"No one. Just give me love and attention" I say and I look up at him
"I'd love too" he said and we kissed
"DAD THEY'RE KISSING!!" I hear my brother say and my dad runs to the backyard
"I'm watching you two..." He says and he slowly walks backwards and we laugh.
We hear something shatter in the kitchen and we all run in.
"The pineapple" I whispered.
"Your dad hit my butt with the rag and scared me" my mom says and we laugh
"Me and Jacky will go get some. She loves pineapple" Calum says and winks.
My dad gives Calum the keys and we were gone.

When we arrived and I kept looking for the rude supermarket boy.
"Babe?" Calum says and I just swing our hands
"Yeah?" I say
"Looking for someone?" He asks
"Yes actually. I'm looking for the rude guy I told you about"
"Ahhhh. Spot him anywhere?"
"Nope"
I shrug it off and we got to the fruit section.
A few fans came over and took pictures with Calum.
Not a big crowd which was quite nice.
As he took pictures I went to look for the pineapple.
"Your back I see. Did you regret all that food?" He says fixing the apples that were right next to the pineapples.
"No. You must really like me or something caring about every move of mine." I tell him.
I look up to make eye contact with Calum
"That's him" I mouthed at Calum and pointed with my eyes.
"Not at all. I could care less about-" he was cut off by Calum.
"Ready to go babe?"
"Well I'm not sure if I should take one or two" I ask
"2" he says hugging me from behind.
"Didn't imagine a girl like you had a boy-boyfriend" he said
Calum let's go of me and walks up to him.
"What's your name?" He asked him
"Justin"
"Well Justin, just to let you know if you dare bother her again I won't hesitate to hurt you"
Justin just nodded.
"Good" he said. Calum then held my hand, and as we started walking to the register he gave Justin a deadly stare.

"Babe we leave in an hour hour" Calum tells me.
"I'm going to miss you so fucking much babe" I tell him as we sit by the fire alone
"Me too babe me too" he says.
I feed him the last bite of my smore before he gets up. "I'll be right back" he runs inside the house then comes back with his guitar.
"I want to sing you a song before I leave" he says
I was speechless.

He puts down the guitar and hugs me, everyone cheered us
"I love you Jacky, so much" he whispered as he hid his face on the crook of my neck.
"I love you," I whispered back "so much"
