Title: You and I, Fool For You
Scene 106: Aquarium
Luke had told Steph he had a surprise for her. She was never so fond of surprises always anxious to know. He simply smiled as she begged for him to tell her. Now they stood with her blindfolded in front of a large tank. She didn't know what was going on the entire place silent.
Luke: Are you ready?
Steph's eyebrows knit together as his voice seemed to echo. She nodded and felt the blind fold move from her eyes. She saw as the fish swam around the place not crowded like it always is. He smiled looking down at her as she saw it all in amusement. He grabbed her hand intertwining their fingers.
Steph: Why is it so quiet?
Luke: I wanted to spend time with you. Not thousands of people.
He smiled and she did too. She walked up to the glass looking at the gigantic tank. They walked to every thing and talked as the did so. It was nice having such a peaceful quiet time away from all the people and the world. It was just them two alone. They reached a room with projectors that had things like fish and other creatures Steph looked around in amazement.
Luke: Look it's a penguin!
Steph looked to see a baby penguin projected on the wall. She thought it was cute how Luke was always fascinated by them. His eyes sparkling at the sight of the adorable baby. She couldn't help but giggle. His eyes would literally light up with happiness and a large smile would grow on his face.
Steph: If there's some penguins here I'm gonna have to keep an eye out make sure you go home and not in a cop car.
Luke only laughed as they keep walking. They came to a small section where you can pet some of the starfish and stuff. Luke hesitated multiple times making her laugh and tease him. Steph jumped a little startled as the speakers turned on in the place. A song playing and Steph knew what it was.
Steph: Since when do you listen to One Direction?
Luke: I don't know I like this song.
Luke smiled as he twirled Steph. She rolled her eyes at him. She was never one for dancing and this time she was totally fine. She always made fun of those people just swayed back and forth and now it was her. She didn't know any kind of fancy waltz. Luke hummed to the song. She smiled as she laid her head on his chest.
She felt his chest vibrate as he laughed making her look up at him confused. There was no reason to burst out into to hysterical laughter out of no where.
Steph: What's up with you?
Luke:(smiling) Remember prom? How you were so stiff and at an awkward arms length away.
Steph: Because it was weird. I hardly knew you and we were dancing a love song together.
Luke: And you were embarrassed as to what the rest would say when we started talking.
Steph: I just felt we should have waited.
Luke: Or how awkward you smiled when they made a joke about us both not moving fast enough.
Steph: I like taking things slow.
Luke: We are. It's just that they discovered us when we wanted them not to.
Steph: Because you couldn't keep your mouth shut.
Luke chuckled nodding. Yes they were going slow and the only mistake made was the night that they got drunk for the first time not handling the responsibility of alcohol correctly. Either way they didn't let that get in the way of them building a relationship. It was like 2 months ago that it happened. Yes it wasn't so long ago that they did the same but this time they both got sober before taking the decision to do so.
