Hockey has our hearts

Jonathan and I were sitting on the couch talking about the game because they lost, when Aira and Patrick came in and it looked like they had made up but I just had to make sure.

“Are you two okay or do we need to separate you again?” I asked just messing around.

“No I am on his back because I hate his guts. Duh we made up.” Aira said

“Don’t have to be a smart ass about it.” I said

“Yes miss period bitchy lady!!” Aira said and then she and Patrick were gone.

“Am I really that bad?” I asked turning to look at Jonathan

He pulled me to him and then said,”No babe your fine.”

 Then we just sat there and talked for a while. The next day they were going on a 4 day road trip so we wouldn’t see each other for a while. So we spent the time we had together. Him and Patrick went back to their apartment so they could get some sleep and pack.

Then next morning I decided to go for a run and I always think when I run. So today I was thinking how grateful I was for everything I had. I got an academic scholarship to go to college, my aunt owns the apartment building that we live in so we don’t have to pay for our apartment, my great grandma died and that was sad but she left me and my brother and sister her money so I was set for a long while, and I was loved by so many people, my life was ready great right now. About that same things happened for Aira except she got a volleyball scholarship and her grandparent didn’t die but they give her money to do whatever with. Not that we flaunt it  but we are kind of rich so we don’t have to really worry about anything. After I got done with my run I went and thanked my aunt again for everything she had done for me and then went up stairs to shower.

When I got out of the shower my phone started to ring.

“Hello”

“Hey sis what up” my sister said

“Hey nothing just got done with a run and then I was gonna hit the books.”

“O cool well I was just wondering if I could come stay the weekend with you since we don’t have school Monday for some teacher thing.”

“Umm sure I don’t see why not. Tomorrow is Friday so I have class at 9 and then after class I will drive down there and pick you up. Sound good.”

“Okay well I don’t get out of school until 3:20 so”

“That’s fine I will just go and see dad and mom and then when 3:20 rolls around I will come to the school and get you.”

“Okay cool wait what about my stuff.”

“I will just get it when I go see mom.”

“Okay see you tomorrow.”

I don’t get to see my family very often. My brother is 17 and a senior in high school so he has his own life, my sister is 14 in 8th grade, and I am always in Chicago so I never really get to see anyone. So it was kind of nice when my family wants to hang with me. After I hung up I went down stairs to see if Aira was here so I could tell her that my sister was staying this weekend.

“Oh good you’re here.”

“Yeah were else would I be?”

“I don’t know I thought you had a class.”

“I do but it’s not till later what’s up?

“Well my sister just called and she is gonna come stay with us until Monday.”
