I think that Ruby looks really good with short brown hair. She wore jeans and one of my brothers band tees to school today. She didn't come to school yesterday. So she only had today to be in school before the weekend break.

I found Ruby in tears on the bathroom floor again. I picked her up and brushed her off.
"Let's go."
"What? It's only lunch. We can't skip."
"Oh yeah? Well let's call this a mercy release. Like in prison."
At least she can still smile.
