"When I am afraid,
I put my trust in You."
— Psalm 56:3
Hi guys, sorry for being inactive these past few weeks. Hindi naman ako busy, pero I kept myself busy just to avoid being bored. Hue~ honestly, I felt really sorry before God because I've been so lazy lately. Nakakalungkot lang. Sometimes I ask myself, how can I overcome this kind of sin?
Good mornight? 😅 It's 12:15 AM while I'm writing this, and yes—my insomnia decided to visit me again.
Since I couldn't sleep, I reread my cousin's message and came across this verse. And it really spoke to me.
Lately kasi, I've been feeling afraid—especially because of things I read on the internet. I keep waking up around 3 AM, and honestly, I don't know why. One time, when I checked my phone, it was 2:48 AM. Bigla akong napaisip, "What does this mean?"
I let my thoughts run wild. I searched online, and what I read only made me more afraid. My mind started imagining the worst things, and I couldn't erase them. I didn't know what to do, so I got up early that morning, full of fear and doubt.
But I prayed.
I told God that I trust Him. I told Him that I know He doesn't want me to be hurt or harmed. (Sorry, I'm not sure what the right term is.) I reminded myself that I've always trusted Him—and I will continue to do so.
And now, I'm not afraid anymore.
Why would I be afraid when Jesus is greater than any fear I feel? I know He will protect me no matter what happens. He is my God, and He is the only One I will praise. No one else—only Him. 🤍
So today, I just want to say this:
Don't be afraid. God is always with you, no matter what you're going through. Keep praying. Keep trusting Him.
God bless, brothers and sisters. I hope this encourages you.
Good night. 🌙✨
