As they started on their "journey," Ivy found herself counting the brown fallen leaves on the sidewalk.

Since she was completely bored she started singing a song from her favorite play.

Kat joined her later in the song. Raven completely ignored them.

The boys stared at them like they were crazy.

In their defense they were utterly, completely, bored, with nothing else to do. What's the fun in walking? Completely nothing, unless there's a beautiful landscape or you're trying to lose weight.

"God, I'm sooo hungry," Ivy complained, "Throw me some Pringles," she told Isaac, who was lugging the wagon.

Soon she caught a flying Pringles projectile and started munching and sharing it with everybody else.

"I brought a couple plastic cups," Raven said, "let's divide up two bottles of Mountain Dew."

The sodas were great, but somewhere around the next hour and a half of silence Ivy couldn't take it, "Oh my god, can we at least talk a bit, it sooo boring in silence."

"Well, what do you wanna talk about?" Kat asked.

"Dunno," Ivy replied.

"Let's start running and see who gets to the corner first, minus Isaac since he has the wagon," Raven suggested.

"Sure, better than nothing," Ivy said.

"Okay, ready, set, go!" Caiden said.

They ran to the corner Caiden got there first, Raven got there second, Ivy got there third, and Kat got there fourth. They had to wait for about a minute for Isaac to catch up to them.

When Isaac got there they suddenly heard a hissing noise.

Then they saw emerald green smoke coming through the trees, and in front of it, reptilian looking aliens, running straight at them.

The girls each grabbed a side of the wagon and ran across the street, while Raven and Isaac held thick, sharpened, fencing swords and fended the aliens off.

There were about fifty aliens and only two of them, but they fought back to back in the middle of the street. (MSI, major safety issue!)

As they destroyed them, Ivy noticed that the disembodied limbs and torsos didn't just stay there, they bursted into ashes when they hit the ground.

Suddenly a knife whizzed past her head and buried itself into the stomach of the largest of the aliens that Raven and Isaac were having trouble with.

Ivy whirled around and saw Caiden holding five knives with a stormy look in his eyes.

When she looked back at the others standing in the road there was only about a fifth of the original number left. Then more speeding knives took out more aliens until there were only five left. Which Raven and Isaac took out easily.

"That was. . ," Kat stuttered.

"Cool? Awesome? Fun?" Isaac supplied.

"More like 'terrifying', Isaac" Kat said.

"To me that was awesome!" Raven exclaimed.

"Let's go, please, I don't want any others finding us," Ivy said.

"They're probably going to find us anyway, why do they even want to capture us?" Raven asked

"They probably need a certain amount of people," Caiden suggested.

"Maybe. . ." Raven said with an uncertain tone.

"We should find a camp, set up the tent and make a fire," Ivy told the others, it's almost four.

"Yeah, let's find somewhere concealed but close to the road," Kat said.

"Let's go now," Isaac said.

They went to the other corner of the uncrowded intersection and went about fifty yards into the woods and set up their camp.

Ivy, Caiden, and Kat set up the tent while Isaac and Raven started a fire with Kat's lighter. The fire was hard because they had to make sure it wasn't to close to the tent.

Eventually they got situated and the fire was a safe distance from the tent.

When they finally got situated Kat took out the pizzas and they each put a slice of pizza on their plate and then they put their slices on a grill they made over the fire, that was their dinner for the day.

Then they each took a small portion of mouthwash and then when they were done they just spit it out into a hole.

After that they just laid out one layer of two blankets on the bottom of the tent and put their backpacks as a dividing line between the girls and the boys. Then they put down their pillows and blankets.

When they were done they zipped the tent closed and then went to sleep.
