Abduction

Chapter 13: Caiden

He and Raven wandered around the ship in search for, well, they didn't know what they were looking for.

"What are we even looking for?" Caiden asked.

"Dunno," Raven replied.

Suddenly, a noise that sounded like a mix between a growl and a hiss, they whipped around and saw a thing that looked like a cross between a giant dog and an alligator.

"What the heck is that?" Raven asked.

"No clue," Caiden answered

"It's so weird."

Then, for some reason, the dog-reptile thing launched itself up and tried to eat Caiden's face. (Now, reader, if you have ever been attacked by a large dog you freaked out and went into armadillo position. though, for some reason, Caiden did not do this.) He grabbed his sword and cut the thing in half in less than a second as if time had slowed down.

"Wow," Raven complemented, "Nice reflexes."

"Thanks."

Suddenly, Raven's eyes widened and she shouted, pointing at something behind him, "WHAT IS THAT?!?!"

Caiden turned around and saw something that looked like the King of The Tyrant Lizards. (that's a T-Rex for you "what-the-heck-does-that-mean" people.)

"What the. . ." Caiden said.

"Kill it?" Raven asked.

"Yup," He told her.

When they attacked it, it was as if there was a bunch of Caidens and Ravens. For some reason after only a minute of stabbing and slashing at the giant lizard, it shrunk and evaporated into disgusting, yellow, sour smelling mist.

"What was that?" Raven asked.

"How should I know?" Caiden said, "I'm just me."

"That's always your excuse," Raven teased, sheathing her sword.

Then Caiden felt a small shock in his wrist. Why?

The watch, dummy.

"Hello?" came a voice from the small screen.

"Ivy?" Raven asked.

"Yeah."

"What's going on with you guys?" Caiden asked.

"We got attacked by an army of demon puppies," Ethan said.

"That's so weird. . ." Raven muttered.

"What were you calling for?" Caiden asked.

"Oh, we found some of the people in our class," Justin said.

"Cool, how many?" Raven asked.

"Um, nine," Ethan told them.

"Dead or alive?"

"Two of them are dead," Ivy said sadly.

"Who?" Raven asked.

"Ivan and Kelly," Ethan mumbled.

"God," Caiden said

"Well this mission has been a total success," Raven muttered.

"What killed them?" Caiden asked

"Demon puppies," Ethan answered.

"Never underestimate demon puppies," Caiden joked.

"So," Raven intercepted, "Who is with you guys?" she asked.

"Mason, Lucy, Sarah, Liz, Grant, Mike, and Jessie," Justin told them.

"Just keep looking, tell the others to keep on look out for anything weird," Raven said.

"Kay."

"Okay," Caiden said.

Caiden turned around to talk to Raven, but she was gone.

"Call you later," Caiden quickly said as he pressed the off button and then he shouted.

"Raven?!?"

"I'm right here," Came a voice next to him. but no one was there.
