I just locked my phone and laid in bed. I felt a dip in the bed and knew it was him.
"Mommy I can't sleep." Well I thought it was him. I quickly wiped my tears and turned towards her.
"Aww, come on pumpkin." She laid in my arms and quickly fell asleep. It took me a while, but I did soon enough.
"Mom ... mom ... mommy." I heard and felt my body shaking. I opened my eyes and baby girl looked scared.
"What's wrong?"
"I had the dream again." She started to cry. It had to be about 12 and Michael still wasn't home yet.
I sat up and pulled her to me.
"Come on, let's get some rest." I said and she turned her back to me while I wrapped my arms around her. As soon as she was sleep, I cautiously got out of bed. I walked out the door and closed it silently.
I went downstairs and turned off all the lights. I got something for his cheating butt. It's a good thing my mom was called in to work tonight.
I sat on the couch in the dark. I'm gone scare him when he walk through the door.
About 20 minutes later, he came through the door creeping.
I waited for him to get to the stairs before I said something.
"So why you coming in so late?" I said and he jumped. I wanted to laugh, but this was a serious matter right now.
"Baby, why you sitting in the dark?" He asked with a nervous laugh. I turned the lamp on and scoped his body.
This boy is in for a world of hurt!
