Chapter Five

I woke up tangled up with Michael. He was snoring lightly with his arm tightly around me.

"Shoot." I whispered. I needed to pee and I didn't want to wake him up. I carefully moved his arm to his side.

As I was sliding out of the bed, his arm pulled me back and I squealed. He scared the crap out of me, then he laughs like it's funny.

"Ain't nothing funny. I gotta pee and you almost made me go on myself." I pouted and got up. Before I could take a step, I fell.

"Hahaaaaaa are- Hahahah are you o-kaaaay hahaaaaa! Okay, are you okay?" He said between laughs. He is really getting on my nerves already early this morning.

I got up and walked to the bathroom while he kept laughing. His shoe was by my foot, so I picked it up and threw it at him. He stopped laughing real quick.

"Laugh now mitch." I said as I kept walking to the bathroom. I closed the door and locked it just in case he wanted to barge in and scare me again.

"Yeaa, I got you when you come out!" He said and I smiled to myself.

I did what humans do, then washed my hands. I walked back into the room, and he wasn't there. I took this time to pick out my clothes.

I walked to my closet and looked through to see what I wanted to wear. As I was grabbing my shirt, something grabbed my leg.

"AAAAAAAAAHHHHHH." I screamed and started kicking whatever was holding me.

"Ow Kelsey!" Nolen yelled holding his head.

"That's what you get. Don't scare me like that." I kicked him again just for the heck of it.

He slit his eyes at me, and I smiled at him. He got up and kissed me on my forehead.

"I'm going to shower and them I'm going to pick up MiMi." When
"Why you gotta be like that Kel and leave me?" I wanted to get under his skin a little, so I messed with him.

"Be like what Mikey?" I mean, his name is Michael now.

"Oh, not Michael anymore?" "I actually like the name Mikey. It's cute on you." I said with a smile. He was about to respond, but my phone rang. I got out of his hold and answered the phone.

"Hello?"

"Kelly-Kels, MiMi is ready to come home. She misses her mommy." She said the last part like a baby.

"I figured that. Can I speak to her?"

"Yeah hold on." I heard a muffled sound and then my MiMi.

"Mommy?" She sounded sad. She just didn't sound like my happy Mi Mi.

"Baby girl what's wrong?" I was kind of getting a little worried.

"I want to come home mommy." She sounded like she was about to cry.

"Okay baby. Mommy will be there in a little while okay? I need to shower and finish getting dressed."

"Mommy please hurry." Her voice cracked and I could hear her softly crying. I almost started crying too.

"MiMi put Rae on the phone." I heard her sniffle and then I heard Rae's voice.

"Rae why is my baby crying and wanting so badly to come home? She loves being with you." I said in a calm voice but deep down I was angry. Why is MiMi crying? She never cries when she's with Rae.

She sighed before she answered. "My dad-"

"I know he did not put his hands on my child. Raechel I love you and I know-"
