Epilogue Part 2 : The Final Chapter

*Eight Years Later*

"Miracle Salezario." Principle Hart said and all of my family shouted as loud as they could making me smile. It reminded me of my Pre-K graduation. I remember it like it was yesterday. All of my family was there and my mom was yelling the loudest. She always was my number one fan.

I walked on stage and heard my family once again all loud as usual. The only voice missing was my mom's.

"Congratulations Miracle!" Mr. Hart said with a smile as he handed me my diploma. "Thank you sir." I smiled back and shook his hand. I so badly wanted to take a selfie on stage but I just kept walking. I laughed at myself for that thought.

"Congratulations MiMi!!!!" My family yelled. It was grandma, papa, my daddy, Tatiyanna, who is my dad's wife, my little half brother Zihir, who is now eight, aunt Riley and JJ , Aunt Faith, Aunt Asia, Uncle José, Bry Bry, and his girlfriend Terria. "Thank y'all so much for supporting me! Love y'all to pieces." I said with a huge smile. "MiMi!" Zihir yelled running to me. I picked him up and kissed all over his face while he laughed.

"Congratulations baby. You know, You always were good with kids." I heard beside me but when I looked no one was there but the voice was so familiar. Then in the distance I saw my mom in this pretty white dress with these beautiful white wings. Her long pretty hair was back and she looked as if she was never sick. I felt a tear fall and she blew me a kiss and mouthed, "I love you," and I mouthed it back.

"MiMi, what are you looking at and why are you crying." Grandma asked. I looked at her then looked back and my mom was gone. I put Zihir down and smiled. "I'm just so proud of myself and I wish my mom was physically here to experience this with me, but I know she's what helped me get here." I said and everyone nodded. "WELL LET'S EAT!" My dumb daddy said making me laugh. "Aye, Apple Bees on you daddy?" I asked and he nodded. "Yep, I'm paying for me, myself and I." He said and I mean mugged him. "Sheesh MiMi I was only kidding." He said and everyone walked towards their cars. I drove my own car I got for my 16th birthday. Bry Bry bought me a 2010 Camaro which is my DREAM CAR!! It's silver just like I like it too. My life is wonderful man. Only thing missing is my mom.

We got to Apple Bees and ate, laughed, and joked around as usual, then we all went home and knocked out because we were sleepy.

By they way, I chose to live with my dad but I stay with grandma and papa some weekends.

"MiMi! MiMi, come quick!" I heard my dad yell and I got scared. I ran down stairs as fast as I could. "What happened!? Is Zihir okay!?" I asked and he was standing there with a smile on his face. "Everything is fine baby girl." He said and I scowled. "DADDY! Why would you do that?! You scared me!" I yelled and he laughed. "I'm sorry but your letter from Duke University is here." He said and my eyes lit up. "WHAT!? Gimme gimme gimme!" I said and he handed me the envelope. Tati and Zihir came down stairs Just before I opened it.

"Why ya'll yelling like y'all crazy?" She asked and came over to where we were. "MiMi got a letter from Duke." He said. "Omg open it!!" She said with a smile and I did.

"Dear Miracle Salerazio, we have read your essay, went over your SAT scores, blah blah blah, blah blah blah, we are happy to say we accept you into DUKE UNIVERSITY AAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!!" I threw the letter and hugged my daddy. "Congratulations baby girl." He said. "Yay sissy!" Zihir said and I picked him up. My baby brother doesn't even know what's going on.

"I can't believe I'm going to Duke University! Their medical program is awesome." I said happily as I put Zihir down. "MiMi you're leaving?" He asked and I nodded. He had tears in his eyes then he ran back up the stairs. Tati was about to follow him but I stopped her and went to his room.
