Sitting in the diner with Aurora you held your phone in your hand and waited patiently for that text to pop up on your screen. It's been an hour since you've seen the older girl before she vanished to her next class, you wondered how long her classes may be.
You gaped at the little one who was still stuffing her face with pancakes and eggs not minding who may be watching her devour her food.
A amused smile appeared on your face. Aurora looked at you and cheesed hardly making you chuckle.
"Y/n?" Aurora spoke pulling you out of your thoughts. You raised your eyebrows at her indicating for her to continue.
"Do you like that girl?" Aurora asked as she turned her head to the register. You furrowed your eyebrows and motioned your head the direction she was looking.
Your eyes widen when they laid eyes on the brunette you have seen earlier. Her long brown locks waving down her back past her tank top. You noticed she had changed her attire.
She then turned around and pulled out her purse scavenging for what seems too be money. You furrowed your eyebrows when she sighed out loud frustrated.
"I forgot my wallet in my dorm." You heard her say too the cashier. "Well I'm sorry ma'am but no money no coffee." She nodded shamefully and grabbed her bag.
You quickly jumped up to your feet and told Aurora to sit still, the little one nodded subtitle and dug into her food some more.
You walked towards the register and stood besides the brunette. "How much is it?"
The brunette quickly looked at you and shook her head. "Y/n you don't have to do that. It's just coffee."
You ignored her statement and waited for the cashier you to tell you the origin price. "$3.25." He said, you dug into your pocket and pulled out a five.
"Add in a strawberry pancake with that." You ordered, he nodded and took the five from you before running back into the kitchen to fix your order.
"You didn't have to do that Y/n." She mumbled sounding slightly embarrassed.
"I wanted too besides you probably had a long day at school, you deserve it." You smiled reassuringly at her.
"Thank you. You dork." She joked and pushed into your side slightly. She didn't pull away from your after she just stood there against your chest and waited.
"Here you go." The cashier handed you a bag, you thanked him silently and walked back to your table with Shay.
"You remembered." She said, you furrowed your eyebrows confused as of what she was talking about. "My pancakes."
You blushed at her words and nodded softly remembering the memoirs of her obsession of strawberry pancakes. She smiled at you lovingly and laid her head against your shoulder momentarily.
"thank you." she whispered, you felt your heart twitch in a loud thumb hoping she did not feel it. "The little one is out cold." She acknowledged making you look at Aurora.
The younger girl had pieces of the egg and pancake hanging from her gaped mouth as she was fast asleep. The two of you giggled.
"Well my classes are done for the day, you want to come to my dorm to catch up now?" she asked with hope in her voice. Inside you were jumping for joy but the outside you had to act cool.
"Sure. Sounds fun." You agreed making the older girl eyes twinkle with joy. You quickly grabbed the slumber girl and left a tip for the waiter and followed Shay to her dorm.
