Mars
what is there so special about this planet?
why do I call myself 'Love from Mars'?
to me, Mars is a metaphor.
you all believe it's just my brand, my way on signing off, well it's something more.
you see, we've been exploring Mars for the longest time now and what have we found about it?
- almost nothing.
why do we keep insisting on exploring it?
- it's still a big mystery.
Mystery.
we know little about it so we persist,
knowing not when to give up.
I guess it's that's why we keep trying:
the little we know kept us intrigued,
kept us wanting more
and more,
and more.
we know so little and yet we think we know so much.
we can't understand It, but It can't explain itself, can't make us understand, and possibly doesn't want to.
and that's where I come in.
I see myself as Mars in this society.
misunderstood, mysterious, alone, intriguing.
I can understand what it feels like to not be comprehended by others, to be seen as an outcast, an alien
sometimes a loner,
but I know not to open up to everyone,
- trust can broken
so I keep it short and people create the mystery for themselves.
truth be told, 'Love from Mars' is my way of saying "keep exploring, facets are deceiving, generate theories"
dig deeper than the surface.Love from Mars.
