Jessie's POV
It has been a couple days since my complete embarrassing break down. It's been days since I've talked to anyone that wasn't Omar or Kyle. Oscar and the crew were trying to speak to me but I would always turn the other way and ignored them. Krystal would try to speak to me but it would all go in one ear and out the other. My dosage of my medicine had doubled, my panic attacks had worsened but Kyle and Omar helped me out. Omar wasn't so fond of Kyle being around but they both learned to tolerate each other, for my sake at least.
Right now I was eating a few brownies Kyle made for me. He said they will help with my attacks and it’s been a few days that I have been eating them, they seemed to work. He never told me what was in them but only that it was nothing new to me. All I knew was, I was happy all the time and that's all that mattered right now.
We were sitting on the other side of the cafeteria, Kyle and Omar seemed to be having a disagreement about some video games.
"Dude how are you going to say GTA is lame!?" Kyle exclaims.
"Cause it makes no sense. Mortal combat is better than stealing some stupid car!" Omar retorted.
These two together was a headache to come.
"Jess which one do you think is better?" Omar said bringing me into this stupid conversation.
"I don't like neither one," I say flatly.
The way their hopeful eyes sparkled awaiting my answer faded as their frowns appeared. The total disbelieve was written all over them.
"What!?" They shriek in unisons.
"I. Don't. Like. Neither. One. Of them," I say slower as I tried to hold in my laughter, "I like Super Mario," I smile at them.
"Jess you're so lame," Kyle says shaking his head at me.
"Says the one that has Spider-Man..."
"Shut up!" Kyle shoots over the table to cover my mouth with his hand.
I stick my tongue out, licking at his palm and watch how his eyes went wide.
"Ewe!" He groans, whipping his hand off on Omar's shirt.
"What the f*ck homie!" Omar shoves him away with a disgusted look.
Watching them both together was hilarious. They always seemed to be at each other’s throats but I think they had some type of bromance thing going on. I was laughing at them both, while they kept bickering at each other.
"Shut up!" I say through gasps, "ah! My stomach hurts," I say wrapping my arms around myself. I haven't laughed like this in a while.
My happy moment had come to an end when a group of guys came over to the table.
"Yo, are you Dopey?" They ask pointing to me.
"Uh, why?"
"We heard that you have some delicious candy," a tall dark skinned guy says.
He takes a seat next to me, making Kyle and Omar more alert than before.
"What kind do you want?" I ask.
"Which is your favorite?" He asks huskily, sliding his hand up my thigh.
Grabbing his wrist, I dig my nails into his skin and kept my expression steady.
"If you want candy I have it but if you ever touch me again," I sink my nails in deeper earning a grunt from him,” I'll cut you."
He nods and removes his hand, as I slowly remove my hand from his wrist. I felt the wetness on my fingertips and noticed some blood sliding down his wrist.
